weaning to sippy cup?

My EBF 7 month old has never taken a bottle - really hates any attempts so we gave up a while ago. I'm keen to stop breastfeeding soon for a number of reasons, and thinking of weaning straight to sippy cup. Is that doable, and any recommendations for cup to use? I'm trying the Tommee Tippee freeflow thing, but it seems to come out rather aggressively and he's not enormously keen!

No advice I'm afraid, but DS2 is 7 months and we are having the exact same struggle. It's hard to have to keep feeding when you don't want to, isn't it? Flowers

It is! I've loved breast feeding but now there are many reasons I need to wean him off - and it's proving a little harder than I'd thought. I know I'm lucky, very lucky, to have been able to do it for so long and to have enjoyed it - it's a great thing for both of us. Still though - hadn't realised this part would be so hard!

I can recommend a Munchkin 360, they're brilliant. Just like drinking from a normal cup but non-leak and with no teat may be easier if your DS/DD doesn't like bottles. My twins got on really well with them. You can get them in lots of places but here's a link so you can see what they look like. They also do a bigger capacity one without handles. groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/product/910001519964 (fingers crossed the link works!)
