Baby hates buggy - any tips to stop slumping?

DD is coming up for 7 months and has outgrown her pram (Silvercross Pioneer) which she loved. We have started using the buggy seat and to say she hates it is an understatement. We have tries it with and without the liner, yet she consistently slumps to the right hand side and looks so uncomfortable in it that I hate putting her in it. I used the pram loads so am at a bit of a loss. Have checked all the straps and they look fine and are all set to the same length. She is able to sit up well on her own. Anyone had any similar experiences with this buggy or have any recommendation on how to make her more comfortable? (or recommendations on a new buggy?! Sad )

Have you tried reclining it a bit (if you can with your buggy)? Is it parent-facing? If not, it might be the transition to forward-facing they are struggling with. Otherwise they might just not like buggies, in which case it's perhaps worth checking out your local sling library for a good recommendation and try again with the buggy periodically.

Yes...have used it in the recline position and parent facing but to no avail. We have a BB which she likes but I'm not sure my poor back can handle it for full days out and she is only getting heavier. Ohh I do miss the pram!

How had she outgrown the pram??? Do you mean the carry cot part? ?? I've got the silver cross wayfarer so similar to the pioneer my ds is almost 1 and in his. Obviously not in the carry cot part but in the straps part at 7m he would've probably been reclined to fullest so more or less flay now he had it sat up (not to the fullest) and facing the other way he's got plenty of room

yes...I mean the carry cot sorry...even fully reclined she looks uncomfortable in it...I am wondering if she is just at an awkward in between stage of being too big for the carry cot but too small for the buggy seat (straps).

We had this my my dd in her Vista. The head support bit detatches and the side bits are padded to keep them snuggly upright. An assistant in jl took it out the box so we could try it in the pushchair before buying it which was nice.

Don't judge all slings on the Baby Bjorn, they are just awful. Really hurt your back, and not particularly great for the baby. Try going to a sling library. They will be able to advise you and hire you one or two to try before you buy. With the right sling you can carry them well into toddlerhood fairly comfortably.
