4.5 yr old asking about how people are made

so tonight DD said ''Mummy. How do people make other people? Like how was I made'? Bit deep for a Weds tea time and luckily we were distracted by a cheeky cat who found the salmon as I wanted to think about how to answer ! Any suggestions where I could find some good online info/books so I can revisit with her? I want to be honest but not overwhelm her (am not in the slightest bit uncomfortable about it) -wondering about mummies having eggs and growing babies but not sure about explaining the inevitable question of how do the babies start growing in terms of her understanding....

We went with you take a bit of mummy and a bit of daddy and when you put them together a baby grows.
A year or so later we had to explain about eggs.
Then at 7 we had the 'How does a bit of daddy get to the egg?'

My reply was "mum has an egg and dad has a seed and when they come together, it makes a baby in mum's tummy". DD hasn't asked how dad puts the seed in mum, but I think we might go for a special hug, when the time arrives. I had to answer the baby coming out query during the week.

Kanye's answer is pretty much what I told my dds.

My DD asked this at 3, I told her mummies have eggs, and daddies have sperm and when they come together in a mummies tummy they grow into a baby. She didn't ask how the sperm got there until this year (aged 8) and was suitably disgusted at the thought Grin
