4.5 year old exhaustion after grandparent holiday - normal?

My 4.5 year old DS has spent the past week with his grandparents and 2 cousins (3 and 5). It was a full on, jam packed great time, they did something every day! His 2 cousins are a bit lot more noisy than him, DS is quite quiet and isn't used to that much noise!

Anyway got him back yesterday and he's not himself, no appetite really and shattered. Just put him to bed for a nap for the first time in 2.5 years!

He hasn't got a temperature,so I am thinking it is just a side effect of such a bust week. I am hoping he just needs a few days of rest and quiet. Any thoughts?

He sounds exactly like my son who is the same age. And me actually. He needs a day or two of quiet and routine and he'll be fine.

Thank you that's reassuring sadly it means I think he's going to miss a birthday party this afternoon but I just don't think he'd cope!
