My DS is 6 months old now and I've always wanted two children close in age. My sister is only 13 months younger than me and we've always had a great relationship. DP agrees, though he's not in such a rush. For the first months after my boy was born, I couldn't wait to get started on number 2, which we were planning to do in August. But now that August is only two months aways I'm getting scared... DS's sleep is awful at the moment, awake every two hours, sometimes for an hour and a half, and I can't imagine taking care of him when I feel exhausted anyway and sick all the time. Does anyone here have two DC close in age? Is it doable?? Not just having two kids under the age of two, but also being pregnant while taking care of an under-1?

I think you shouldn't worry so much about the age gap, and just do it when you are ready. feeling scared clearly shows you are not yet ready.

I was desperate for another until dd1 hit the four month sleep regression! Then I never wanted another ever lol.
Once dd1 started sleeping better I suddenly got very broody again lol.
