Demented with naps

I know it's the four month sleep regression. But OMG IM DEMENTED.
my great sleeper (terrible feeder so the sleeping was getting me through) has turned into a moody little mare that desperately needs 3-4 naps a day but fights them like a maniac.
It's taking me over half an hour of screaming and thrashing to get her down and then she wakes every twenty minutes screaming. She's exhausted and grumpy all the time.

I used to be able to pre empt her getting sleep by putting her in the swing or sling and getting her over before she hit that over tired stage.

She now screams whenever I put her in:
The sling
The swing
Her bouncy chair
Her pram
The car seat
The car
My arms
The cot

If I hold her to try and rock her to sleep she flips out and claws at my face and throws herself backwards until I put her down. If j put her down she cries hysterically until I pick her up. I'm bloody exhausted. I feel awful that's she crying but it's not like I'm leaving her to cry, she screams the same if I'm holding her.

I managed a combo of having her in her cot with the side down and me half lying in it with her there to get her over. It took over half an hour of thrashing and screaming and clawing :-(

I can't think what else to try. She gets hystetical in the pram so w walk won't work, flips out in the car so a car drive to put her over wont work.

I had (still have) a horrendous sleeper who did all that so you have my sympathies.

One thought, have you changed anything with her feeding? i.e introduced/changed formula, started her on some solids? Some of those reactions sound like discomfort/pain and irritability that might not just be tiredness. Allergies or CMPI often cause this type of sleep disturbance.

If not, it'll then be 'a phase' as many of these lovely things are....Hmm

No not changed anything but her teeth seem to be bothering her.
She's not been right since her rotavirus vaccine two weeks ago tbh although sleeping thing has only been a nightmare since Friday.

She has suffered from reflux but that seemed to be settling down a bit.
