I have just had to put my only just 4 month old DD in
9-12 months clothes. Will her growth slow up?

At this rate she'll be in age 4 clothes by her first birthday. Naturally this was inevitable as her dad is 6"6.

I am obviously very thankful my DD is growing well and appears to be healthy ??

If anything like my now 7 year old dd, no her growth will continue in an amazing non stop kind of way. She's now in age 11-12 clothes and has size 3.5 feet. adult size 3.5.
She was 10lb4oz born to a 5'9" mum (shortest in my family) & a 6'4" dad.
Leggings and adjustable waisted trousers with long tops will be your friend. Dresses often don't work as they might fit on top but be too short. Hence leggings.

Wow she sounds like one leggy lady!

Thank you for the leggings tip. My DD is very slim but long so that will work.

I second the leggings. Lots and lots of cheap leggings, supermarket multipack type that she can grow out of in a few weeks and then spend money on the top half, I buy my daughter tunic style dresses in 2years bigger, which she wears a dress to begin with and then with leggings as she grows. This has worked really well. Ebay has been my friend. Also buy short sleeve dresses too as they last longer and team with a nice cardigan. She was 10lb 2lb at birth I am 5ft! We did that height calculation thing when she was 2yrs and her predicted height is 6ft!!!!

My dd was also in 9 months size by about 4 months (a little big)0. When she got to 6 months her growth slowed massively and she still wears some

Oops.. Posted too soon (distracted as DD was just trying to eat my shoe!) anyway....she still wears some 9 month size clothes now at 8 months old. She is growing white slowly now. So I would expect it to plateau out at some point.

My son was in tiny baby when he was born but as he grew he ended up being in 12-18 months when he was about 8/9 months old. He was always in a size older than he was but now he is in clothes his age. I think they stop growing for a while when they're about 1 year old-ish and it kinda balances itself out. Then along the road they'll have growth spurts, you will notice!
Big babies were a good healthy sign in the olden days.
