Grease proof paper over the crayon then run a hot iron over it?

that's what i was going to say. i know it works for candle wax, so it should work for wax crayons.

either that, or scrub it with some sort of detergent like washing up liquid then put it in the washing machine on as hot a program as possible.

good luck! remember you love them REALLY!!!

Also try heating with 'hot' setting of hair drier and dabbing with kitchen roll.

Incidentally, that will also get vaseline out of hair

ooh, i didn't know that!!

on a similar note, does anyone know how to get chewing gum out of towels? don't even ask how it got there, i honestly don't know....

Try and get as much gum off as possible, then put towel in the freezer, crack/scrape the gum off when frozen OR rub something very oily like peanut butter on, and that will help ease it off.

The peanut butter method also works for getting gum out of hair.

Again, !!

No I am pleased to say I have no knowledge of a 'false fold'!!

do you iron pyjamas?? i've got to know what a false fold is now. can't ask my dad as i'm in a strop with him for shouting at me when i was doing his ironing....

I absolutely do not iron pyjamas. What is that American woman who does all the household stuff? Martha Stewart? Google her and see if that tells you what a false fold is.

Then post back here!

i'm really not that bothered TBH...more p*ssed off cause my dad had a go at me when i was trying to help!!

will try the hot iron thing, thanks! Was also going to suggest peanut butter for gum, works a treat getting it out of hair. I fell over in a glob once at school (gross!!!) and mum used peanut butter. Worked like a charm. Stank afterwards but was better than being glued with a big blob of sticky gum!
