DDs are vegged out on the sofa in a pair of jimjam shorts, no tops on. They are 5 and 8, nearly 9 and 6.
Theres only us here, and dps in bed and wouldnt blink an eye lid, but at what point do I tell them to cover up a bit?

they will usually cover themselves up a bit when their bodies start devoloping a bit more.

Leave them until they feel uncomfortable, or if people who might feel uncomfortable come round.

I think it's good they feel relaxed about it.

ok, the reason I was thinking about it is a friends boyfreiend was here yesterday and they were playing the eyetoy, got too hot, started peeling off layers and were quite happy to be bopping about like that. I told them to run upstairs to find some summer clothes.

I remember being told aged about 7 to "shut your legs!" quite sharply by my mother. I was sitting on the sofa watching TV in my nightie, lolling about with my legs up, and no pants on.

It made me feel ashamed and that what was in between my legs must be bad somehow

Yes cross posts charlie. I think saying "So and so is coming and she is a bit old fashioned, she might feel embarassed to see you in the nud" is fair enough. But having your own mother snap at you as if you have shown her something disgusting, is quite nasty

DD walked home from preschool topless the other day. She got a few funny looks, but who cares, she's only little.
