What can I do differently?

Ok, have posted before about this over the years but I never learn. Grin
Boys x 3 and shopping.
I have learnt from here to online shop, go alone and guess sizing, etc.
sometimes tho (like today) I have to have all of them.
We only did necessary shops and still the six year old climber through a display stand and knocked it over. Sprawled on the floor claiming tiredness. The middle one kept winding him up. The older one kept being rude and bored.
And I ended up frustrated, furious, fed up with dh and irritated.
The little ones had all electronics confiscated and are now asleep having been sent to bed.

tbf that's boys and shopping for boring things like clothes. I'm like that now and I'm 46!

I also have boys x3, and avoid all shopping with them, however when I do absolutely have to take them, then it's shameless bribery all the way. If and only if they behave, then they get a treat, whether it's a magazine they want, sweets or a trip to a cafe. I have previously dragged them to the car crying as they've been naughty and didn't get a £1 to spend. The next time we went to town they remembered and were good as gold.
Today the game was all of them hiding under tables in shops so I couldn't see them at all, I have no shame and shout BOYS in a ringing voice until they appeared. Unfortunately they'd already had a treat, but when we got back to the car, I reiterated what they'd done wrong and hope it sticks for next time.
I feel your pain, and have resigned myself to not enjoying shopping for a few more years.

Ok, bribery, that's a bloody good idea. I did once try giving them a handful of coins each, taking them away one by one if they were naughty. Might try that again. I'd totally forgotten that.

It's the sheer hideousness of young glam assistants looking like I've bought a box of mud and emptied it in the shop.
Today's worst moment was the smallest one getting to the changing room to reveal - da da! - no pants mummy! So had to guess by using the middle one what size trousers for a funeral next week.

I've had the no pants hilarity, and one loves to wear three pairs at once regularly Hmm it must feel nice.

Oh this one wears them swimming under his trunks! It's like a circus trying to keep track!

Could you turn it into a game? Whoever walks the slowest and quietest down this aisle will get a sweet (take some heros it something) you need to find 3..., etc?
