Rainy day activities?

I feel a bit stuck, I could do with a repository of rainy day activities to do with my 16 month old. Any ideas or tips for places to help tk imagination? We don't have a car, so can't go too far and she has a long nap 12-2, which limits us a bit. Heeeeelp!

Make choc Rice Krispie cakes together, watch peppa pig, do some drawing/painting, do sticker books, go out anyway in the rain and go to a cafe for cake, soft play, toddler playgroup, swimming. Where do u live? We are in London so obvs there's the science museum, natural history museum etc as well x x

Thank you for your response! We're South London, and getting into town takes an hour at least, so a bit of a mission as she naps for two hours in the middle of the day (won't really sleep out and about any more).

We love bouncing on the bed, making a tent with a huge sheet and some chairs, having a daytime bath, painting, going to the library, singing and generally just pottering around.

If you're in South London are you anywhere near the Horniman Museum? That's fantastic for kids.

Otherwise, for things to do at home try things like playdough (either homemade or bought), drawing, sticking, any kind of craft stuff. Or just get her to 'help' wuth whatever you are doing- my 3yo loves loading the washing machine and cleaned all the windowsills today Grin

Swimming? pretty labour intensive with the changing etc but does fill an afternoon and tires them out too Smile
