just to update on this situation. I have not sued the school. however I can;t get the help I need with my son. He has been seen by the local authority sensory team who have put many suggestions forward to the secondary school he now attends. Unfortunately this has not been put into practice. We have bought him a kindle and a touch screen laptop to try and help him. His attendance at school last year was 47%, as he gets such bad eye strain. His laptop has recently broken and Asus say there are not going to repair it. We cold not afford to buy it in the first place. I feel like I'm failing him all the way. To all the people out there who did ot support me in claiming against the school and didnt hold back on there comments, I really hope your not ever i this situation were you have an intelligent son with a lovely personality and a talented musician and see him continiously hitting a brick wall. Yes I know life can be unfair, but it can also be very frustrating when you can't find anyone to help you. All the money in theworld will not sort this out for him. But I have spend the past year trying to sort it for him without success. I have written think after comments nasty comments about another mum talking about suing the school. I am the secretary of the pta i the school this happened it so I think I am very loyal to this school. Maybe we should not put points like this over on this site if we do not want nasty comments back, but sometimes we do it because we really don't know what to do or were to go. Sometimes we should spare a thought for peoples feelings before we make cruel comments. With that I rest my case. Many thanks to everyone who gave me knid and helpful advice. I know it takes all sorts and we are all entitled to our opinions. Please dont bother to reply to this I don't think I can handle any nasty comments
