In and out again, in and out again

My 2.2yr DS has always been brilliant at going straight to sleep and is usually a really good sleeper. For the last 10 nights though he has climbed out of his cot several times during the night and the sleep deprivation is driving me mad. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and tired all the time anyway but this is killing me. He has been able to climb out of his cot for a while now and did go through a phase of doing it in the night last summer but just stopped after a few weeks. We are going to convert his cotbed to a bed so that he can get in (and out) more easily and are considering putting a gate on his room. What do you think? Any advice gratefully received.....

Hi Hen. Yeah if he can get in and out anyway the cotbed idea sounds sensible. What are you doing when he does climb out?

Putting him straight back in and he's usually going straight back to sleep. V frustrating! Am really hoping its just a stage....
