DS came down with a horrible virus, so had to cancel nye plans. Drinking tea, staring at fireworks out the window, thinking - ohhhh to be 25 again and out on the town on NYE!!! Anyone else at home pondering New Year's past?

Yup. By choice.

I have thus far been invited round town by a friend. Been invited to a house party by some drunken neighbours down the road who I barely know. Alls I know is since I moved here they've had more smashed windows than I've had clean knickers. I politely turned them down Grin

I have been invited to the pub with DH. To MiLs and to my parents.

I have turned them all down in favour of Pepsi Max with Vodka, my LoveFilm subscription and cuddles on the sofa with Devil Dog.

I haven't had a night in to myself for years. DH is out until the wee hours and the kids are at my sisters.

Well not quite alone but dh on some game on his iPad, does that count?
Happy New Year all.
Dc's all asleep.
Have no desire to be out at all, maybe 10 years ago, boring or what?
Oh and I don't like concerts.
Loving a relaxing night under the blanket on the sofa, no work tomorrow.
