Friends of ours had a characature picture done of DH & I for a wedding present & 15 yrs later it' still makes us smile.
Another option would be to go to one of those pottery shops where you can make your own cups, plates etc. Some of them do special wedding gifts that they will make for you eg a tea pot/ matching mugs or can provide kits for use on the day such as a photo frame or plate that guests can sign.

Teaser sounds lovely. I think royal solution do a posh three piece, cup, saucer and tea plate. Sure I saw them on sale on the debenhams web site yesterday. My mil has one because she likes a proper china tea cup.
Otherwise a snow globe with a photo of them in?

Hi. I'm off to one of my best friends weddings in December. She is very into Christmas and in looking for a unique gift for her and new dh.
Problem is I'm completely shopped out. My dd birthday is on 23/12 and ds on 24/12 and with Xmas I'm just so numb when it comes to thinking of a unique special gift!
I've been thinking of nice Christmas decorations they can get out year after year, but to be honest I think a few people may be doing this too.
They have been living together for ages, so nothing is really needed and no gift list supplied.
I'm now thinking, as she really loves a good cuppa about getting a nice teaset/ teapot? Is that lame?
I'm so stuck, wedding in a few weeks so am panicking a bit now!
Any suggestions welcome!
