Just a straw poll really. I don't think there's much for this age. Am I missing sth?
Oh, I have dds.

DD is 6 and is still hooked on Balamory! She loves most of Cbeebies while her 3 year old brother prefers power rangers and ninja turtles!

DS1, 7, watches TV from about 6.15 ish to 7 so he sees Blue Peter and Newsround - I looove Blue Peter! He is always regaling me with facts from it. On Sunday evenings he watches Soapbox Zoo and on Sat and Sun morning he watches about an hour of whatever is on CBBC or CBeebies - ds2, 4, has to get a look in sometimes! And that's about it ...

My DS loves "How it's made" on Discovery, which about how everyday things are made, the previous night it was about how toilets and jeans are made.

He alse loves "Backjardigans" on Nick Jr

My dd is 7 and I fear will never give up CBeebies, although she likes Blue Peter and Tracy Beaker too. She won't admit to still liking CBeebies though, she insists its only on for her little brother (nearly 2).

Most things on Discovery kids (especially Croc Files, the history thing with Sam and Jen (can't remember what it's called), Just a Minute, Gross and Sorted).

My small children watch sponge bob too, but I think it is rather grown up actually, and I dont like the ethos ( a bit teenagerish)

I agree, but I'm pretty sure it goes straight over the heads of my 2(4&5)

dd is 6 and still on CBeebies. She likes some of the CBBC programmes too but I don't like her watching most of them. If I let her she'd probably enjoy watching all sorts (I shudder to think, she's a complete telly addict if not controlled).
Any channels with adverts are banned for the children in our house. Got enough harrassment from dd1 as it is without being pestered for crappy toys.

Scooby Doo - they both love it and so do me and DH, especially the ones we grew up with.

DS's favourite programme is "Pete Waterman and steam trains" - he watches it endlessly! He's 4.
