Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

if anyone is still looking for the white plane they've got them in Costco for £20!
I gave up and got the plane from the playmobil website. It was £35 but as I ordered over £80 of stuff it was free delivery.

oooh where are you? I have been to 4 different tescos recently and they are all the smaller, darker private plane - as in their catalogues and website - maybe your branch has let one slip through!

I am obsessed with not paying £30 for it now, just on principle because it was cheaper earlier on in the year - wish I had got it then ....

The plane in our tesco was the white one
Nappy - have just forwarded it to you. grin
Can anyone forward me the update email please. I am registered for the playmobil newsletter but I didn't get anything sent to me.

I thought the sale was starting today, so rang really late, but managed to get the Gladiators arena for £40 quid which was good for me.

I did notice, though, that Boots are doing their 3 for 2 offer on all kinds of toys, so I may well get my Pyramid (the other thing on DD's list) form there. I just can't decide what else I want to make it worthwhile.

Toys R Us have some great deals too. And WH smiths are doing 3 for 2 deals on smaller sets (but watch out, cos they charge more for quite a few sets too...the blighters).
Cheapest I found it online (doing a Google shopping search) inc postage was £36.
I want the nativity set too so will prob get them both off playmobil website as its £35 there and will be free delivery if I get them both.

The one for £20 in Tesco is the black private jet not the white commercial plane (longer), unfortunately as this is the one my son wants.

I can't see it cheaper than £29.99 anywhere, even though it was £16.99 earlier in the year in Tesco which is bugging me!

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
