Finally found the bottom of the washing basket, tumble dryer is in a state of collapse, and all I need to do is organise it all away

Don't know what to do today, 'tis peeing down with rain. nursery off for the week, dd doesn't go back till Monday.

Took my 'meh' swimming today. forgot my goggles, but managed 40 lengths before my eyes started stinging.

MIL taken dd for the day. Not me, just dd.

Now watching High School Musical

Just allowed myself to be wound up by PIL

MIL took dd today.
She said she's bring her back at 6.30, so I thought ok.

6.30 came and went - no sign of dd.
dh came home, we phoned PIL.

FIL answered: 'oh they're out playing in the garden, we'll bring her back about 7ish'

Me: 'well MIL said she'd bring her home for 6.30, so can you just bring her home ' and hung up.

10 past ruddy 7 by the time they came home. sent dh out to deal with them as I think I'd just have screamed at them.

No apology, nothing!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

dd up during the night with bad cough - naturally I'm blaming the PIL for not looking after her to my high standards.

We are decorating ds's bedroom now. Bloody hell it's taking forever. Just have to paint the tree on the wall now.

Trying to convince dh to go to IKEA tomorrow - whaddya get????

well.... i got another little square table as the one we had for years and was crap so got a new one. i wanted the coffee table with magazine shelf underneath, but all sold out.
and, a frog hanging thing to put toys in and another hanging thing for ds1. and a dogs bed, some scissors, a reflective jacket as ds2 wanted to be a policeman in it! ONE OF THESE and i think thats it. ds1 picked some cakes from the shop, but neither of us like them so will have to take them in to work monday and leave in the staff room, sure some one will eat them there.

ds1 and ds2 were already arguing over the table and who gets to lean on it when sitting down, so think i may need to get another one.

oooooo, and i got some plastic thing that you stick on the wall and stuff your plastic carrier bags in to keep them all together. god im sad...
