We are having a naming ceromony for our two sons in July. Does anyone have any ideas for suitable readings/poems?

We had two at our daughter's, one is a gaelic blessing which we altered slightly:

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your fields
And, throughout your life,
May God, whatever you conceive him to be, hold you in the palm of his hand

Also a Taoist reflection

Close your eyes and you will see clearly
Cease to listen and you will hear the truth
Be silent and your heart will sing
Seek no contacts and you will find union
Be still and you will move forward on the tide of spirit
Be gentle and you will need no strength
Be patient and you will achieve all things
Be humble and you will remain entire

Then there's always something from The Prophet by Kahil Gibran...
