Any tips on removing what is not a 'washable' felt tip pen mark from leather. Thanks

or in a similar vein- biro from leather-DS did some lovely art work on back of DH seat on recent car journey. Have tried white-wizard-no change though

Using a cotton wool bud dipped in nail varnish remover usually gets that sort of thing off.
Test abit on the sofa thats out of view just incase it does something wierd, though I doubt it will.
Good luck.

Scribble over the whole of the leather sofa in a 'brit art' type of way, then lean back and watch as your friends admire your brave new artwork! Llewlyn-Bowen would be proud!

I've always used Mr Jeeves "Miracle Polish" for pen/biro marks (worked especially well on our leather sofa). Picked it up one year, from the Ideal Home Exhibitition and it's wonderful.

That reminds me, miggy, must miracle polish our car where DD2 did exactly the same thing.

try white spirits dosn't usaully harm the leather but just try a section of the sofa out of sight first

Apparently hairspray might do it

Just when I need it the Persil stain remover advert thingie seems to have disappeared.

My stain query is poo on green carpet plus also the smell from bedroom (fortunately DS's). I cleaned it up with baby wipes and then used 1001 and then DH sprayed fabreeze. The incident happened Sunday am and I had the window open most of the day but it still smelt this am.
