Feeling hormonal

Dh has just started week 4 of a 9 week residential training course. I have just started week 20 of second pregnancy. Feeling very hormonal and thought writing might stop me from feeling so sorry for myself. Dd has just gone to sleep, I need a hug, and more sleep than I know I'm going to get before I get up for work. Which I hate going to and would rather be at home with dd.

Sorry to sound so pathetic but pregnancy can have many side effects!!!

((((hugs)))))
Sorry you're feeling glum.I hate it when my dh has to go away for work.It must be even worse if you're pregnant.I don't think its unreasonable to feel sorry for yourself in that situation...and it always makes me feel respectful of single parents.
You should do something nice for yourself like rent a really cheesy chick flick that you will love and that your other half would hate, buy a tub of Ben and Jerry's and once you have your child in bed, just indulge!!!
Hope you're feeling happier soon.

Thanks alexsmum
Feeling a bit better today. Your night for myself idea sounds great. Will attempt to get dd in bed early one night and indulge.

brilliant idea alexsmum, don't forget the facemask, nail polish, copies of Hello!, Now and Ok! (or whatever vegs your brain out, or should I say brian?), big bag of kettle chips, slouchy pyjamas as soon as you get in the front door..ooh I can do this Weds/Thurs when dh is away too!
