good websites for single dads?

Hi,
Does anyone know of any good websites or other support networks for single dads? A friend of mine looks after his 2-yr-old all by himself and I'm sure there must be other dads out there in similar situations.
Thanks, Lorien

I admire him, I am on my own with my little boy and its hard work sometimes, has he tried Gingerbread? or (I cant remember if this is the correct name) Association for Lone Parents.

I know Gingerbread arrange various activities as I have contacted them myself. Some organisations can even help with arranging holidays etc as usually you would have to pay a suppliment being a single in a double room with a baby and some actually do discounts.

Can he not log onto Mumsnet? Perhaps he would find it as useful as us? or is it specifically dads he wants to speak with?

There's www.fathersdirect.com which was suggested recently . It looks pretty good but it has nothing like the frequency of postings as mumsnet so I doubt if it has the same community feel about it.
Alley22's idea is good. Why not recommend mumsnet?
