message reads Handed to Resident to CAM Can anyone interpret? At the time recorded Ds was out in the back garden and I must have arrived home just after. No card left and nothing in porch (or bins!) . Too late to ask neighbours.

I had this last week and was told by Amazon that it could be that the courier had selected the wrong package on their hand held computer but that it would take a day to find out. In fact they'd delivered the parcel to an address on the other side of my village - it was re-delivered by the occupier the next day.

That would be really annoying, not least that I'd have little faith in ever getting it. Presumably I'll just have to contact them tomorrow.

Still no sign. Amazon have replied that with similar message to yours to wait until this afternoon before contacting them again if not arrived.

I had the same yesterday but with my surname instead of "CAM".
In fact there was nobody at home but a note had been put through the door to say parcel was in a safe place in the back garden. It definitely hadn't been 'Handed to Resident'. I think it must be their standard phrase in order to close the job.
Hope you manage to track it down!

I think some of their couriers are not very reliable - we've had several incidents of deliveries to completely different addresses and frequently get messages that they tried to deliver but no-one at home when someone has been in all day.

You were right. It had been put through a door further along the road and the lady from there has kindly come along to find us. I've emailled Amazon to say this is not acceptable but don't suppose they will pass it on.
