Money Saving Phone Line Tip

As I have become quite addicted to Mumsnet I would like to put the prefix 1363 in front of the number the computer dials to go on line. We have this facility on our normal phone for cheaper calls.

Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thank you in advance for saving us lots of money on the phone bill!

Purp, who do you get your internet service from? BT, AOL, Freeserve and others (I think) give you unlimited access (ie no call charges at all) for around £15 a month so unless your current internet call charges are a lot less than this you would do better signing up for unlimited access and not have to watch the clock whenever you're on. (You need to be strong-willed though or you'll be on all the time!)
I don't know if you can use one of the cheaper telephone charge numbers with a modem; we used to have a "phone-pal" from One-Tel (saves you dialling the access number on the phone plugged into it) and it used to cause problems with the PC even though the line didn't go through it. You could try ringing customer services for 1363?

Thanks Janh. Someone told me you could do the 1363 thing, good idea to ask the 1363 company though, very obvious but my poor old brain isn't what it used to be, 6 months into this parenting lark! I was wondering about the signing up with one of those other people ooh dd just awoken, thanks again bye.
