Soft play centres

Hi everyone

I'm possibly buying a soft play centre and would love some feedback as to things you love or hate about places you have visited.

Obviously being clean, safe and having good food (homemade, healthy etc) are on my list but is there anything else that really works or really doesn't work?

All ideas and suggestions welcome.

Many thanks x

Make all the exits on the same side, if you take more than 1 child you have to keep scanning all the exits to check whether one has escaped (..spirited child..).

Hate places where you have to pay for the adult!

We went to one this week where the adults could sit in the cafe and see ALL of the areas in the soft play centre. That was really good.

I get annoyed in places where there is an area for under 3s (or under 2s or whatever) which get overrun by older children and there are no staff around to ask them to play elsewhere.

Being able to see all exits, and all soft play and the doors to the loo. Parking, space for buggies

My local one just has one exit which is controlled by the staff on the till (entrance and exit in same place), so the kids can't leave except with an adult.

Yes - being able to sit with your back to the exit and watch kids play whilst having your coffee and knowing they definitely haven't escaped.
Not having to pay for adults/under ones.
Don't mind paying costa prices for nice coffee
Don't just stock crappy fruit shoots
