How could we stop now? I have been consulting the Consolidated Manual and Rules of Engagement (2014 version, recently republished following the Aachen controversy) and will kick the game off with

Heathrow Terminal 4

Shit, 2014 version? I'll have to download that for Kindle (I'm normally old school, me). Hang on a sec...

Ongar.

That's still OK, isn't it (I had a quick scan through 2014 rules and couldn't see that it falls under the Kropotkin exception but then, as I said, I'm a bit of a dinosaur rules-wise)?

I too find it difficult to keep pace with all the refinements to the rules, hence my recent studying. Ongar is a bold and original move. I'm hoping the other players will find us soon, but until then I'll deploy Harrison's compress to

Warren Street

Harrisons' Compress and Wareen Street? Not sure I can trump that, frankly, as I'm not fully up to speed on the 2014 manual. But, best foot forward: I'm going to say...

Morden

Well done maud..I've missed this

Moving forward nicely with a blairs rowt swing to

Kenton

(Following rules of the 1957 conference held in Brighton)

Olivegirl · 20/02/2014 23:16

Just to add think I'm ok with that one as it still complies with the 2014 version

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/02/2014 23:18

Ooh. The pace is quickening. How about a transverse (partial) shuttle to

Hangar Lane

Ooh new rules! How very bold!

I'll get in the spirit and go with Clapham South Great to have the opportunity to give that one an airing

Report
Olivegirl · 21/02/2014 13:33

I've had a little flick through the 2014 rules
I'm understanding there are a few changes that we must take note of.. So we don't fall into the (1945 lidsvert transcript version)
Easily done...
So I'm following the DLR to
Beckton park

Weegiemum · 21/02/2014 13:37

I'm too tired to join in, but I just had GP pop in to say that the other week we went to London and actually went to Mornington Crescent tube! And took pictures (and we weren't the only ones!).

Ah, but if you're including the DLR as part of the underground (not approved of in all circles!) I give you - Cutty Sark.

Oooh! Oooh! Transverse temporal diagonal (I've always wanted to do one of those) to Goldhawk Road. Booshaka!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/02/2014 22:32

Ha! I will assert Morton's Convention and move to

Pimlico

That gives me a very straightforward move to
Covent garden

WeGotAnnie · 22/02/2014 11:22

You've left it wide open there. I'm too tired to consult in-depth guidance, so have just had a flick through 'Mornington Crescent for Dummies' and think I'll just take the most straightforward route this time.

Woodside Park.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/02/2014 14:33

I find Mornington Crescent For Dummiesvery useful, when one hasn't got time to flick through all 790 pages of the Compendium. Anyway, I'll go for an offside snurdle to

Oxford Circus

Olivegirl · 22/02/2014 17:36

Of course! Clever move there, I can see where your going with that one ...
I may have to think tactically here so a roll to the sidewolt with

Tower hill

Report
DebbieOfMaddox · 22/02/2014 17:41

Tower Gateway. Almost too easy...

Report
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/02/2014 14:15

It's taken me a while to reassess my game plan in the light of that surprising (but impressive) move to Tower Gateway, but I think now I'll go for

Euston

Olivegirl · 25/02/2014 19:06

Am I allowed to go to the tritspath level?
Think I can according to the brockspath game...

The only move I can see then is to swingsholt slide to

Embankment

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/02/2014 18:11

Oh, well played.
