In case our thread is deleted!

So, who is here?

irlouise13 Sat 19-Jan-13 19:27:03

Well I was louise13 on the dark side. Banned for being disruptive - asked how/what that meant, response was 'our decision is final'. Anyhoo, agree with cacamilis, I've had enough of that playground shite - looking forward to more bluntness and less loling and hugs

Arthurfowlersallotment Sat 19-Jan-13 19:27:34

ROFL @ worra. Omg hun ur so funni.

Anyway lads, MN isn't like RC. (But AIBU isn't the place for this thread.)
For one there's no novena thread here. In my opinion we could use one. <fumbles rosary beads>

IWasSara Sat 19-Jan-13 19:35:31

Hi Louise13, I was probably gone before your time but that's exactly how things work round there. Place will be the poorer without - I still read sometimes but you're better off somewhere like here where intelligent discussion/debate is actually possible!

Best of luck with the baby.

Hello hello and a big warm welcome to our newcomers (from all sources)

Can we please remind you not to personally attack each other - tis against our Talk Guidelines

We've no problem with you posting here to 'find' each other, but if this thread turns into a rehash of arguments that have taken place elsewhere, it's going to go to the great thread graveyard in the sky.

Thanks
MNHQ

IWasSara Sat 19-Jan-13 19:58:01

Thank you.

irlouise13 Sat 19-Jan-13 20:05:27

Yeah, I don't remember u sara, I was only there a year or so. No double ids or arguments to be rehashed on my part. Had been lurking here for a week or 2 anyway - looking forward to diving in at the deep end!

IWasSara Sat 19-Jan-13 20:10:47

I've lurked on and off as well. Might get more involved, at least on this site you can expect professionalism, fairness and to be treated like an adult. The moderation seems good too. I think I'd have enjoyed a good old spar with your louise, I like straight talking too!

zignzag Sat 19-Jan-13 20:11:23

Another Irish poster here. Have an account here good while buy rarely post.

I like Irish people.

<massive generalisation>

Bez00 Sat 19-Jan-13 21:57:48

Hi Girls, read a few other threads here today, there is a place for every topic imaginable. But the one thing that strikes me is that no matter where the site is, the same concerns face parents. I expect we may all get a bit lost as we are drawn to topics that interest us. Hope the bump is doing well, irlouise13.

Wonger Sat 19-Jan-13 22:06:36

Hi girls. Only on for a few minutes. From reading the rest of the thread I can see some have followed over just to make us look bad. I suggest we just ignore them and let them on with it. Am certainly not here to give them some entertainment.

Will try get on later.. Great to see you all xx

rhetorician Sat 19-Jan-13 22:09:48

what happened? am completely clueless and have no idea what any of you are talking about. I live in Dublin btw and have posted periodically on topics relating to Irish things...

squiggleirl Sat 19-Jan-13 22:11:39

Hi Louise, just come from rollercoaster. Was wondering if you'd been banned too when I couldn't find one of your threads. I'm still hanging on in there (seems I wasn't quite disruptive enough!), but it has got quiet over there now. How you getting on with babs?

Sara and Loueze!

I remember you both from when I was Snowglobe around 4 years ago!!!

<swear I'm not a stalker emoticon>

qualitytoffee Sat 19-Jan-13 22:18:06

Girls, i'm an ex also, but this is a huge site, with lovely ladies, so please explore it. Their invaluable advice was a godsend to me, and i love it here xxx Please don't just limit yourself to this thread xxx

HowAmIStillHere Sat 19-Jan-13 22:19:03

Lovely to see lots of posters I am familiar with 'over here'.
Give it a while and the stalkers will have gotten bored, I hope!
I can see the need for a few threads on here to find old pals and get reacquainted. Once all the ex rc'rs have found one another and clocked each others new id's am sure the craic will follow.

therealmccoy Sat 19-Jan-13 22:25:15

LOL it's all very quiet over there, I think we are all here. Let them discuss their steam mops till the cows come home lol nothing but a pack of reporting, no life scaldies lol

IWasSara Sat 19-Jan-13 22:26:39

I remember you Snowglobe! Good to see you!

Yes they are following from all sorts including GAA clubs in Tipp! ;)

I've read here on and off for a while too and don't for a minute think we will have some sort of clique (;) here or anything - just thought it would be nice to touch base! I've been an ex for a good while now and am well over it but it's nice to see old friends!

squiggleirl Sat 19-Jan-13 22:29:37

I remember Snowglobe. How are you pet?

SanityClause Sat 19-Jan-13 22:36:22

A clique is called a quiche here. Not sure why.

Bez00 Sat 19-Jan-13 22:43:19

Ah no, I am partial to the odd quiche. Not so fond of a clique

qualitytoffee Sat 19-Jan-13 22:45:41

Only real men eat quiche!! Cliques not my forte either x
