The reason I joined MN was because of a thread like this. So here goes.

I have a size 4 pair of Girls DC trainers, they are brand new in the box, black and cerise pink. They would make a fantastic Birthday or Christmas present. Please don't ask for them just because you want them, I want someone who needs them for their DD to have them. :) PM Me :)

Lovely of you to do this. They wouldn't fit anyone in this house though. Grin

This is a fab idea - I was on the other thread and it was great to help people; everyone I sent things to was lovely and it made MN feel all fluffy for a while (I'm obviously deluded). I'll go have a look and be back later . . .

That's v sweet of you but the only person in this house with size 4 feet is me - my dds overtook me years ago! :)

Other people can add items too :) I think society would be much nicer if we helped each other a bit more. I can post said trainers anywhere in the UK so don't be shy.

Thanks MammaTJ :)

I've got one of those inflatable swimming floats for babies, you know the one that looks like a rubber ring but has a bit in the middle for the baby to go in (like this), brand new and still in the box - PM me if you want it.

I like freecycle and the idea of it kim but it gets hijacked by carbooters around here. I would rather someone who needs them has them :)

Desperately seeking a dishwasher in Dorset! Sorry for the ask, but mine's given up the ghost and I've been struggling to keep up with the housework as it is!

I have a plastic, blue booster seat (high chair as oppose to car seat) if it's of interest to anyone local. feel free to PM.

Great thread idea!

They would be slightly too big for my son, and I think he'd prefer boys ones. Thanks anyway, lovely idea.

Have just offerred a load of jigsaws to the local Action for Children but if they don't want them will put them up here. Will also have a look round for what else we don't need anymore!

Great idea. I was about to post similar in the for free section.

I have a black next maternity swimsuit, size 16 and some M&S maternity support tights (box is shabby, but never worn) and a cream pillow case fora V-shaped cushion that got forgotten when we passed it on. Oh and some size 7 Clarks boys black and red trainers that were hardly worn. I can post all items :)

Wonderful idea again. I still am so grateful for the amazing packages we received from the other one. My DD is still loving the clothes and books and they always make me smile and think of the kindness of others.

Shall have a look to see if anything to contribute.

I have some books if anyone is interested......not childrens books (though i will see if my children have any they want to give away). PM for titles. I didn't know MN had a 'for free' section.

Can post books to anywhere in UK

Was it this one Fermez?

I think it just got a bit too big? I have just yesterday posted some breast shells to a MNer - random, but thought the same as OP, that it's nice to pass on to someone who has a need for something :)

I was just thinking about this yesterday, lovingly looking at DDs swim suits, UV suits etc from our holiday (lots of them, I her granny went OTT). Was going to ebay them but thought 'I wish I could give them to someone who would really appreciate them'. I don't know anyone else with a little DD (DD is 2 but some of them are 12-18 months as she is quite little) so if you are that person pm me!
