Any Welsh-speaking mums in London?

I live in west London with my husband and 12mo son. We are from Wales and as my first language is Welsh, we are trying to raise our son in Welsh as well as English. We'd love him to meet and play with other Welsh-speaking kids in London - I know there must be lots out there! Would be great to hear from you.

Sorry Nosser, we don't live in London, but I just wanted to say I admire you for trying to raise your children in Welsh in England. We live in SE Wales (Newport), my dh is from Anglesey (so obviously his first language is Welsh). My eldest dd has just started attending the local Welsh school - it's the only one for miles that actually teaches everything in the medium of Welsh - and this is in Wales! I speak more Welsh than most of the natives here - and I'm English born and bred. When we lived in London, I remember seeing something on the local news on St David's Day about a Welsh school in London - I think it was in Willesden, but I'm not sure. I'm intrigued to see how many people respond to your message.

Thanks for your messages - haven't had a chance to look at the website again until now because of Christmas and various lurgies beforehand. I haven't contacted the London Welsh society yet but this is a great idea. I think the Welsh school is in North London, which as the crow flies is about 15 miles from here, and as the north circular goes, can be 2 hours! Thanks for your encouragement - our son is definitely understanding some Welsh words, so long may it continue!
