Bruce and brown are really fantastic my children are with them, kids london are equally as good mot are good and urban angels
models direct are the biggest scammers out there.
The Judds.? They paid £49. (smallest fee out there) and didnt allow 24 hours for the account to be activated. Then cancelled their payment. We contacted Mr Judd, who seemed a nice geniune guy. We refunded his money and closed his account. I'm am sorry for anyone reading this, thinking the worst. We are not a scam. If you'd like our client list please let us know and we'l send you a copy. Mr Judd is a very confused man. Any questions please give us a call.
Bizzykidz are a total rip off, they took my fees over 4 years ago and didn't bother to get any work for us. Not just that, when I chased them up they were very rude and aggressive towards me. Do not go near them with a barge pole!!
it's right on their website

goldenpeach - where did you see the Next competition - I've not seen anything on thier e-mails recently?
Oh my, how I wish I had read This before I'd sent MODELS DIRECT £126! I feel such a fool & cannot believe there are so many companies out there just ripping new mums off! My 1st experiance of baby modelling was just 3 weeks ago when Models Direct contacted me & gave me a huge speal about how fantastic my daughter was & how she'd been put forward forward to their national selection panal & would hear in a few days. I was advised Ffion was a hit & offered to sign her up. Within a week I was bombarded with calls & emails, she was signed up & I'd paid the £126 for their "Rising Star" package which at the time was advertised as the best package you could get & that your child would appear above others & more pictures ect so obviously we went for what we believed was the best. Within our 7 day cooling off period my friend had said she signed her daughter up & they were a rip off & had been on watchdog too. I went onto Google & typed MODELS DIRECT SCAM & was gutted what I read. I called them straight away & left a message to say I was going to cancel the payment as I was really nervous about going through with it & within 5 mins she'd called me back & gave me nothing but re-assurance & even sent me a copy of an email sent from MODELS DIRECT to WATCHDOG stating that what they had broadcast was untrue & she told me it was 9 years ago (which was actualy 6!)& just a few mums who's children hadn't got work & that the MD of the company was away & wasn't availble to appear on the show to defend MODELS DIRECT & that it was all untrue & I fell hook line & sinker for it!
Thing is since then I've had another email from MODELS DIRECT offering me a "free" trail for the "SUPERSTAR" package so I've now found that not only have I NOT got the top package but there are 2 catagories above the "RISING STAR" package I had originaly thought was the top. There are "CELEBRITY" & "SUPERSTAR" packages above the one I paid for & I'm guessing that a "FREE TRIAL" means they'll be asking for more money!
It still didnt sink in I'd been ripped off until I spoke to a lady from a modeling agency called Abstract Models & explained that you needed a license & that pretty much I'd been scammed by MODELS DIRECT. She is asking me to take my daughter to Birmingham on the 7th November for registration, photo's & license admin but will need £90 to cover the admin costs & photos & I really want to take her but I VERY sceptical & so is my less than happy boyfriend that I want to spend another £90 & I couldnt see anything on here about Abstract Models?
Does anyone know of this company I dont want to throw away even more money plus the time of travelling to Birmingham to made to look a fool again!
Any comments on Abstract Models would really help me I dont know what to do with regards taking her on the 7th November?!?!
STAY CLEAR OF MODELS DIRECT!!!
I think modelling children is a bad idea unless they really want to do it.
I saw plenty of unwilling children at castings when I worked in magazines and they didn't get the job as it was so obvious the parents were pushing them to do something they didn't want to do.
Don't pay any money. If you're really obsessed, why not enter a competition? Next is having one for 4 years old up.
The article in Fabulous make me feel sorry for the kids. The parents sound awful
Baby Models UK seems to be a scam - I registered and paid for a one year membership at £49.00 after being accepted into the books. Have since read more into it and the website says they don't charge commissions or fees when their terms and conditions say they keep up to a third as a fee.
Have tried to contact them and no answer - the address they supply as customer relations is a small office near Brick Lane in East London called Business Inc - a mail forwarding company.
Anyone who has had decent experience with this company, please let me know - I'm trying to build a nest-egg for my son for later in life and would appreciate any help in finding this companies contact details direct.
Ta in advance,
