Does anyone have any experience of this Bright Horizons nursery in London, N1? Also, do you know roughly what the monthly fees are? Many thanks

I had a friend whose son went there briefly and she moved him after a couple of weeks - I think disorganised approach and they seemed not enough on the ball for her. Spend a day there and see, everyone's experience is different.

I visited this place and I was impressed, overall. The Manager's daughter goes there which says alot. I liked one of the little settling in policies they have, which is to send you snaps of your DC in the first few weeks - to your work email address during the day - to show you they are getting on. The Manager also spent a long time with me and wasn't in a hurry to get rid as they often are.

But although I thought the toddler and older child area was great, I found the baby (i.e. non-walkers') room a bit uninspiring and not where their focus lay. Plus, the cost was ridiculous. I visited loads of nurseries in Hackney, Dalston and Islington and it was the most expensive by far. About £1500 a month and they don't even give your child dinner. So, after a long day at work, you then need to come home and feed your little one. I wouldn't be picking him up until half 6 so he wouldn't get his tea until about half 7. That totally wouldn't work for us.

But, if that doesn't bother you, your child is toddler age and money isn't an issue, then I would say it is pretty good.

Does anyone have experience with Floral Place Nursery N1?
I recently had a viewing and I was extremely surprised how well organised, clean and calm nursery is - staff member that show me around provided me with very satisfactory tour around the building and explained to me how smoothly they do settling in up to 2 weeks to develop relationships with child and parents I'm first time mum and I just wonder if your children go there or you have any experience visiting this nursery
As I don't want to make a judgment by reading comments from 2009....

My child goes to Floral Place Nursery in N1. As a first time parent I was really apprehensive about leaving my daughter for the first time but the staff were very understanding and supportive. The settling in period was so smooth it put me right at ease. She's been there six months now and my daughter, partner and myself absolutely love it! We couldn't be any happier with the learning, development and advice they give. They are extremely professional and I feel like they are there for me as well as my daughter. I would highly recommend!
