hi

looking for someone to tell me this will settle.
10 month old in nursery a month has lost her sleep routine. she used to do a short morning nap and one long or sometimes two short afternoon naps, go to bed at 7 and sleep through most nights.

now she is sleeping a few 20 mins nap during the day at nursery and is hard to get to bed at 7. she is waking numerous times crying. dunno what to do!!
ive asked the nursery to follow our feeding routine and I have brought in comforters. they are very accomodating.

anyone been through anything similar? ?? any suggestions. im wreaked Sad Sad Sad

Has your DD recently started nursery? I found it took a few weeks for DD2 to really settle. She was waking for about 2 hours at night, ready to play. This was just as I went back to work.

Is your DD teething? This plays havoc with both my DDs nights.

I had nursery nap issues too.

I found it helpful to say ... DS should not be asleep after 3, otherwise he won't fall asleep in the evening.

Only that got them to start to think about our routine (as they said they would)...

Mine is a similar age and has been at nursery nearly 2 months. He's been similar. I also have a 2 year old in nursery. I find that they are both very ready for bed by half 6 on nursery days. Much longer and they get overtired and a bit wired. I find if they go to sleep earlier they tend to sleep longer. I'm pretty sure it will calm down, it has here. I wouldn't be happy with nursery letting them sleep late in the day (unless absolutely necessary)
