You could ask for a change in key worker or look for another nursery or a childminder?

Speak to the nursery, the staff member may not be aware that she is causing offence. Or speak to the manager.

This could possibly be resolved which would save your daughter being moved.

I was a deputy manager in nurseries and had an open door policy. There were occasions where misunderstandings grew and grew and a good old fashioned chat sorted things out.

Of course te worker may be in the wrong but addressing it and having chance to rectify it may do the trick

you sound like you have taken a dislike to this person
maybe you could look for another nursery or just accept that you can't always like everyone

It sounds like you aren't happy with the nursery now she's moved rooms. If you're not happy, move her, you'll only regret not doing it sooner...

Hi this is my first post

I am having concerns and I am rather (how shall I put it) annoyed at the way I am being spoken to by a member of nursery staff my 2 and a half year old daughter attends.
I am a single parent and returned back to work a few weeks ago part time which means my daughter attended 4 morning sessions. She had been attending the nursery 2 mornings a week before I went back to work from the age of 1.
As she is 2+ she is now in a different room, I had no problems what so ever when she was in the under 2 room. Now there is a member of staff in the 2+ room that I am not too sure about, she seems to be ok with the children when parents are present but I've caught a few times when she thinks no one is there her personality seems to change so to speak. Since increasing my daughters nursery hours when I ask the nursery worker how had my daughter been she always has some sort of negative thing to say and when I explain to her how my daughter is at home she in a patronising way tells me what to do repeating exactly what I have said to her! This has happened on a number of occasions. I approached my daughters key worker and told her how I was feeling and she asked if I wanted to have a word with the nursery worker, I said no as the way I was feeling I would of probably come across rude, so the key worker said she would have a word.
Anyway I'm just worried now that if I send my daughter there after this incident I am absolutely petrified that she will be nasty towards my daughter and take what I reported out on my daughter. I was even thinking of giving up my job just so she doesnt have to go there.
Sorry it's a very long rant but I would be great full for any advice.
Thank you
Xxxxxxxxxx
