National Childcare Champion Award 06- Day Care Trust

Dear All, the Daycare Trust needs your help...!

A friend of mine works for the Daycare Trust and they are trying to encourage more entrants into the National Childcare Champion Awards, which is an annual award by the sponsored by Calpol.

The awards are open to all who wish to enter or nominate someone who has played an active role in improving quality childcare provision, fought for more support for children in the community, encouraged investment in out-of-school care, developed a new service or carried out other activities to support childcare services... anything for the kids!

The prestigious accolade is presented by Chancellor Gordon Brown at a ceremony in 11 Downing Street in June. All you have to do is download the entry form at www.calpol.co.uk/en/pdf/NCW_Flyer.pdf and submit it along with 100 words (max) on the person being nominated and what they have achieved.

Entries are quite low at the moment so whoever you nominate has a very strong chance of winning! I'm sure you must know someone in your child's nursery who is very active in helping parents and those in the community with child care facilities, or even you as a parent raising fund for community services... nothing's too big or small!
Entry deadline is 26th May so get nominating!
