Has anyone got anything to say about kids unlimited nurseries? Went to see one in Farringdon rd London recently and wondered if anyone would recommend them. Bit concerned about staff turnover.

Hi, my dd has been attending Kids Unlimited for almost 2 years now - I can honestly say it's the best thing we ever did. It was the only nursery we saw and instinct told us we would be happy with it and tbh we are DELIGHTED with it. She is flourishing there and I have the utmost confidence in the staff who look after her. I am always met by happy, relaxed and smiling staff and the manager in particular has been extremely accommodating when we have wanted to change days/book extra sessions at short notice.

Staff turnover has not been a problem at the nursery she attends (we are in Cheshire). We are moving house (hopefully) and will really miss this nursery. Planning to use nearest Kids Unlimited one to our new home. Hope that helps,

DD (18 months) been at one for the last 3 months and we're absolutely delighted. Staff are warm and attentive. Haven't noticed a particular turnover problem. DD loves it. I'm sure it varies by branch, but I'm really impressed.

Very happy with our KU - DD (now 6) went there from 7 months till she left to go to school. DS is there now, and has been since he was 6 months (now 2). I guess they all vary - ours has a balance of old hands who've been there ages, plus some newer ones. They're all lovely, and very caring IME, and I like all the extra bits they do, like the baby signing and baby massage and yoga. DD and DS both love it too. DD loves to go back, and is immediately at home when we go to pick up DS. They've helped us through some difficult times, and were especially good with DD when DS was born and she went through a bit of a 'difficult' phase - gave her loads of extra attention. Hope you find somewhere that suits

sunglasses a friend of mine sends her little boy to the Farringdon Road one. As far as I know she's very happy with it. I possibly won;t speak to her for a while but if I do I'll ask her if everything is still ok. he goes 2 days a week

Thanks for all your comments. The staff certainly seemed very nice and friendly and i too was impressed with the range of activities etc that they do with the children, was just concerned that no one seemed to have been there very long i.e a couple of peoples first day and another ladies last day but i am sure by the time she starts in June they will have sorted it out and have established staff. i do agree that it seems a little clinical but as its so handy for husbands work we are going to go with it for now. hope to be moving soon anyway but just wanted to secure something now before i return to work. thanks everyone

Must live pretty close! We don't live in Wilmslow though - I used to work in Bollington/Macc and it was handy for both my work and dh's work (he was only there a month or two as I left work before long!)

One of my friends has sent her 2 ds's to the Total Fitness branch near Wilmslow (another one for Wilmslow)! She is happy with it, but another friend who sent her dd to the one nearby (Handforth Dean) had some problems and ended up moving her dd to somewhere else. I think it depends on the branch you use.
I work in Wilmslow btw so I must live near some of you guys!!

Ds went to the one on Gravel Lane - it was years ago though and not for long!
