There are quite a few nurseries in Wallington, I see, but does anyone have any experience of them? Don't know where to start looking...

I don't know of any but I will be watching this thread as I'm hoping to move to that area in the near future. LadyTophamHat used to live there so she may know.

I lived in wallington until 3 weeks ago, and as far as i know most are run by the Jancett group.
Certainly seemed that way so I suspect they will all be pretty much the same.

Poshpaws used one, maybe ask her.

Thanks,LTH .

The Jancett group runs the major ones. Gaytime is supposed to be very good. My Ds has just left Jancett Day Nursery (Ross Road) which was excellent.

What age group are you looking at? They have the best baby room. I was going to send DS2 there (8 mths) but decided to postpone going back to work .

A few mums at the school gates have recommended Startel as well.

Good luck with the search.

We need a place for a six-month-old baby. And I have to say, I like Wallington too, Carmenere! I've got an appointment to see Gaytime, funnily enough. I've heard good things about it and the one you mention in Ross Road, Poshpaws. Gaytime's en route to the station for me, which is going to help a lot. I've no idea how I'm going to do a nursery drop and get my train - I could barely get myself on it before...
