duvet for cot bed

hey all.
it's starting to get cold and i want to get a duvet and duvet cover for my 1year old son's cot bed.
I went on ebay/amazon and i'm unsure what to get.
his cot bed measures 70x140cm, but cot bed duvets are 120 x 150. Will that size be ok or it will be too big? what do people usually get? i like this size as it's future proof and will be probably ok when he moves to a new bed. I don't mind having to tuck in the extra bedding but if it's too much i'm not sure it will fit between bars and the mattress. any ideas?
thanks!!

Hi, I did have a cot bed duvet but only used it for a short time as I didn't feel it was doing much! I ended up getting a single duvet and putting in on sideways with one half tucked under the mattress. Worked great and now my son has it on his single bed. Will be doing the same for my lg too.
