New blog: Motherbug - the science of kids and my kids of science

Hi all,

I've just started blogging, it's something I've been meaning to do for a while. My website is split into two.

The first part, science of kids, isn't a blog. It's a series of articles on the science behind some of the guidelines, decisions, experiences etc of raising children. So far I've covered the food guidelines for pregnancy, this week I'm writing about infectious disease risks to young kids visiting farms and how to prevent them.

The other section, kids of science, is a blog. Part highlighting interesting news stories to do with parenting and science, part talking about my scientific brain trying to manage the randomness that is parenting.

Anyway, I'd be grateful of any thoughts, constructive critisism or ideas on how to push this further. Here's the link:
