Has anyone tried one of these? I'm struggling to find reviews because they're so new. I'm trialling one atm and keep hoping that DD will do an explosive poo in one so that I can check out their containment abilities
No sorry - but know bumgenius are also about to bring out some new ones - econobum and flip - if you google babame (new name for bumgenius company) they are on the blog. Will see if can find hip hip info for you.
Sorry can only find wonderoos by hip hip
Check them out here. I was really hoping that I wasn't the first MNer to try them. They are amazingly absorbant for wee yet dry superfast - about 16 hours inside without the heating on
someone on natural mamas was using them - can't remember how I know that! They look like a coolababy but have hemp inserts - would be interested to know how they compare to wonderoos as made by same people. Maybe it is their 'new model'
******NEWSFLASH*****
DD did an explosive poo in one that she was about to get changed out of as she'd had it on for almost four hours (I'm sure it could've held more wee if necessary though).
I can now confirm that Real Easy nappies contain explosive BF baby poo beautifully. I don't understand how they are so good given how soft the leg casings are, but they do contain poo! They are the nappy most like a disposable that I've used for how trim they are, more trim and absorbant than a wonderoo.
They are effectively a wonderoo but with a sewn in all in one tounge by Hiphip baby, Ive seen them before and am impressed with the new version with the Hemp tounge.
Not used them yet but id imagine since the shell is virtually the same they would work pretty much the same as the wonderoo (i have used) Works for some, not for others!
They are sized though. Wonderoos are one-size aren't they?
Has anyone else had any experience of these?
I had a couple of smalls and I hated them. Constant leaks. But probably depends on your baby.

Wonderoos are birth to potty and Real easy are sized. Mediums fit for ages though.
I've got a minki summer flower one and I like it. It is quite bulky but I find Wonderoos are quite bulky as well (I have the originals, I think the v2 is supposed to be slimmer). I bought a lot of (original) wonderoos second hand for DD1. I still use them but they are always at the bottom of the stash... last to be used. Although I have started using them for DD1 at night as they have plenty room for stuffing and it doesn't matter how bulky they are then. DD1 is dry in the day and in pants but still needs a night nappy.
The medium real easy will fit DD1 (aged 2y6m) and DD2 a very chunky 7.5m -not a big belly but huge thighs!
If I boost the real easy it will do as a night nappy for DD1 but not for DD2 (she still feeds a lot at night)
I find them good for containment and a good fit, just a bit bulky for under trousers but the one I chose is minky and very pretty so a good choice for under summer dresses
I have one and I'm happy with it but I wouldn't rush out and buy lots more, there are other nappies that I prefer out there!

I have a couple of real easys and they are brill. Best of both worlds combining AIO with quicker drying time. DD small 15mo and in medium. They fit really well and can be boosted if necessary (though without boosting they only last about 3 hours). I now keep one of these in my nappy bag and save for "awkward changing" scenarios eg when dd poos seconds before food arrives at cafe halfway round supemarket. Brill brill brill.

Hey I ve just brought 6 of the real easy for my 6 month old DD. I love them they are so easy and last for 3/4 hours, longer drying time than most is the only down size. Used to use the smart nappies from m/care but they always used to leak, after a week so far no leaks yet!!! On baby kind site they are buy 2 get 1 free so works out at £7.99 each bargain for the quality!!!

I've been using Real Easy's for the last 18 months - I bought a set of medium and large sizes as DS was a big baby. We absolutely love them and still use them exclusively as day nappies. We never had any probs - they are so easy to use, wash and dry (takes about 24 hours in airing cupboard). Had brief period when he was about 8 months still having mainly milk when we needed to put a booster in the nappies as he was weeing so much but poo has never leaked. He's now big 19 month old in the large size and we still love them as much as ever - highly recommended!
