Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

Scotia - i am selling a rainbow stripe size 2 tots wrap, £4.50 posted
Sorry I've been away.

Natty, I do still have the totsbots but smeone is supposed to pay me for them today. I will let you know if they become available again

I'm hoping to buy a size 2 tots fleece so that should solve some of my night wrap problems, and someone is looking to swap my medium airflows for nature babies. HOPEFULLY DS WON'T BE (oops!) allergic to those.

RedHairedGirlie - I am not using them but do have a 12 week old. Her poo is runny and does go all over the nappy but thats normal. Its fine - just stick it all in the wash and make sure you do a rinse cycle first. Is your babys not still runny?

I have decided that I am going to try a prefold on DD2 tomorrow (or maybe the next day as we should be out all day tomorrow). I have hundreds of them and I always say they are rubbish, but I can't actually remember them leaking or anything. They might be a good solution for now when we are at home and just need something that is fairly quick to dry and doesn't go to crunchy. I mean, they are cotton so not exactly soft in hard water but it doesn't seem to matter as much as a lot of my shaped nappies. My cotton tots are almost unusable if they are not tumble dried sad They feel like sandpaper!
I didn't like the catchy feeling of the gussets and waist areas - not sure what the fabric was, but not the usual fleece sort of ones! It made Benjamin hot & itchy and I always ended up taking the nappy off him before he'd even done anything in it, as he'd start digging & scratching! hmm Needless to say, the nappy didn't live in our house long - and won't get one again. But some people do love them!
I think pop-ins are yuck with their ugly gussets and crunchy inserts.
Hi, just wantedt to check if anyone is using the pop-in birth to potty nappies and if so how they are finding them - especially for handling mushy poo from a 15 week old!! I am using disposable liners with them, but stil find most of the poo ends up on the nappy :-(..
