Ooh, am definitely interested! I just saw this on CNT

Can i have it please?
Natty, the other lady has just paid for the totsbots sorry.
Scotia - i am selling a rainbow stripe size 2 tots wrap, £4.50 posted
Sorry I've been away.
Natty, I do still have the totsbots but smeone is supposed to pay me for them today. I will let you know if they become available again

I'm hoping to buy a size 2 tots fleece so that should solve some of my night wrap problems, and someone is looking to swap my medium airflows for nature babies. HOPEFULLY DS WON'T BE (oops!) allergic to those.
RedHairedGirlie - I am not using them but do have a 12 week old. Her poo is runny and does go all over the nappy but thats normal. Its fine - just stick it all in the wash and make sure you do a rinse cycle first. Is your babys not still runny?
I have decided that I am going to try a prefold on DD2 tomorrow (or maybe the next day as we should be out all day tomorrow). I have hundreds of them and I always say they are rubbish, but I can't actually remember them leaking or anything. They might be a good solution for now when we are at home and just need something that is fairly quick to dry and doesn't go to crunchy. I mean, they are cotton so not exactly soft in hard water but it doesn't seem to matter as much as a lot of my shaped nappies. My cotton tots are almost unusable if they are not tumble dried

They feel like sandpaper!
I didn't like the catchy feeling of the gussets and waist areas - not sure what the fabric was, but not the usual fleece sort of ones! It made Benjamin hot & itchy and I always ended up taking the nappy off him before he'd even done anything in it, as he'd start digging & scratching!

Needless to say, the nappy didn't live in our house long - and won't get one again. But
some people do love them!

I think pop-ins are yuck with their ugly gussets and crunchy inserts.
Hi, just wantedt to check if anyone is using the pop-in birth to potty nappies and if so how they are finding them - especially for handling mushy poo from a 15 week old!! I am using disposable liners with them, but stil find most of the poo ends up on the nappy :-(..
Blakester is a fab name!

blakester!
Natty, it is swampster at rocketmail dot com
lol - at the horror of it! That is how O feel about Blake PTing. Since he has been wearing wool my family call him 'swampy' & act as if I am literally insane!
thanks for the offer of fleece wraps, but
trying to keep away from nappy related purchases, as I have enough nappies/wraps for nearly double the boys I've got!

hence my idea to get into some sewing, as a better hobby than nappy buying! LOL Though I have to admit, sitting at the computer is a lot easier!

But so far I'm being a good girl - even selling off a few nappies and
not re-investing them in more nappies!

(the horror of it!!!)
rachel - I have 2 toddler sized fleece stacinator wraps for sale

, or, swap if you happened to have bamboo sandys etc!
stripy please. pp details?
Just to say thanks for advice about plastic pants - will try Boots as suggested.
Red or stripy? £3 posted?
just the one size o, whichever is cheapest will use at night most. thanks

I also have a size 1 red Tots fleece and a pretty unique size 1 cream Tots fleece though its label is gone. These have seen a bit more action but if anyone wants them?
I've found them - two red, two rainbow striped. One red and one striped in EUC, one red one striped in VGUC - how many and which do you want? Or £12 the lot?
Natty - sorry just seen your question about the day - we used fleece in the day with Talia with no problems. Did get a bit of compression wicking at night though but Talia wees a LOT so all her nappies are drenched by the morning.
Infact, I was going to say, I don't think I can use BBH at night on Talia anymore

. SHe has litterally had a puddle in the nappy by morning! The first time, I though she wees as I took the nappy off, but it isn't, its just where there is too much wee!!
Just put the wonderworks AIO on Talia and it looks like a great fit! Fingers crossed it lasts! I am hoping for 3 hours (or until the next poo!). Its a shame I only had 1 small (and 2 medium and 2 large). The med looks like it is way too big at the mo. Will try the large on Elouise later.
how much for the lollipops jen? and the wrap in case swamp doesnt find hers
I have a size 0 tots fleece if swampster can't find hers. I think it would go over size 1 tots. I think we mainly used ours over sandys. Can't really remember!
I am an idiot. I thought I had ordered some bargain BBH AIOs from the bargain section of babykind. Turns out they are wonderworks!! ARGH! Although they do look fairly cute but just not what I was expecting

. It just said "magicalls" Aios so thought that was what the BBH aios were called? Must be me getting everything muddled up in my head!
My "day of disposables" didn't last long! Fluffy post is here and I want to try out my new nappies! LOL 3 x Lovely WNNL, the AIOs and a medium UD fleece wrap. Oh and a "dry bib" (not nappy realated but hey!) and a swaddlebees velour wipe/flannel.
no chance my little man wees to much. will size 0 go over size 1 tots?
I used size 0 fleeces with nothing but boosters when he was a size 0 [wistful]
ok

thanks for the advice rach, will buy a few off swamp.
have u tried them during the day??
Give me a mo and I'll dig them out and see what's there, Natty. Feeding the monster right now.
favourite [doh]
Have you tried Stacinators, rach? They are pretty industrial strength. My favouite fleece wraps are sugar Peas - trim, gorgous, bombproof. DS3 is in small and medium at the mo.
oooh swampster yes please how much?
natty: I've used fleece on Clement since he was born for nights - fleece or wool, depending on how I felt, or shape/size of nappy!

We love fleece wraps! And the Tots are fab wraps too - not had any leaks with fleece on Clement. Though for some reason not had as much success on my heavy 2.5yo. I wondered if the heavier the child the more likely for pressure wicking? Or maybe just because his clothes are more close fitting, since he has to always wear secure clothing because of severe eczema. In any case, I love it for newborns! Clement long ago outgrew his size 0 Tots wrap (but will always save it for any future babies!), and he's got a lovely size 1 stripey Tots fleece from Swampster - which he can still fit into, though not for long! But a m/l UD fleece wrap is wonderful fit over night nappies - goes over our Bedbugs no problem at all - you'd nearly think the two were designed to go together!

Natty, I've got a couple of nearly new size 0 Tots rainbow striped fleece wraps and maybe a red one if you are interested.
oh and Scotia still after yours as i believe you said they were brand new?
ooh not tried lollipop nappies.. might be tempted with them.
got some little lambs in post today and a size 1 tots bots fleece wrap. its massive tho, i wonder if its worth getting a size 0, wanted it for nights. anyone used fleece at night on a newborn?
Natty - I have some more tots bots I can spare. I have the rest of the cotton tots (4 applix and 2 nippa), and I did find some more bamboozles although I think some were lilac so might be too girly? I am sure I found at least a couple of white ones though. Also have lollipop bamboos and a lollipop softee and small and extra small sandys, and some basic applix small nappies.
Let me know if you are interested in any of them.
Girls are in disposables for today, to give me a bit of a chance to catch up on washing, and Elouise appears to have the runs a bit

. So thought it was a good chance. They manage to fill my washer in a day just with nappies. Now that nearly all of our nappies are rediculously slow to dry, I am starting to struggle a bit with having the space to dry them. Although I guess it is mostly due to all this rain!
Off to put Elouise down for a nap. Although she didn't get up till 9am today so not sure if she will go down!
Thanks
natty! Packing up now & will be posted by noon today, so
hopefully you'll have it tomorrow!

money sent rachel!
Scotia if tots bots still about im intereted xx
natty: just letting you know I'm going to the post office this morning, if you're still wanting the woolies.

Otherwise will be Friday before posting again - but either day, I'll send them 1st class so you get them more quickly. Just let me know. rachelinscotland@gmail.com
i use paper and fleece
yea i must say that paper liners really come into their own once u reach solid poo stage! i dont use liners in my nappies at with DS2, but with DD i always put paper liners in otherwise its just messy longwinded and nasty! much easier to lift out and dump down the loo (or in a bin if out)
got the nappies today too jenny, little man has been in them all day

never mind and sling them in the bin!! God forbid! Although I must admit it has been very tempting on many occasions. DS3 has the runs at the mo and I am deliberately using all my least fave nappies to prevent my ittis getting all nasty and stained!
I don't really sluice in the loo - I do a lot of scraping off with loo roll which isn't pleasant but then I just sling them in the machine and hope for the best. Yuck.
At the mo, am using a fleece liner AND a paper one, so that if any sluicing needs to be done, it's mainly the fleece liner that the poo gets stuck to.
I REALLY NEED SOME WOOL foe bed- fancy disana/??? where are all the bargains?? also need large wraps but nothing out there
Baron - fluffy post on it's way.....and I mean fluffy!
Jenny - got your wipes/liners. Brill! How much I owe you.
I got some magic-alls from a rather marvellous lady today, and they are lovely. The blue comes recommended it's lush. The purple too.
So, we are weaning. Talk to me about sticky squished in poo. What am I doing with the nappies?
Do you sluice them in the loo, or never mind and sling them in the bin? Am new to this bit! Think it will be easier when she's walking and not squashing it in. Yum!
You'll just have to have more babies Swampster

Hi Jenny got the WN. Trying it tonight

.
WNOS, WNSS,

I've decided to get some wool for ds, got 2 pairs of shorties coming from UKPL. I've sold my size 1 totsbots so that will go towards them

Am getting excited again - not a good sign...
MEOS. MEAIO. Can't think of any more now, will go off to ponder while children watch CBeebies

And BBOS and BBSS.
Don't forget WNNN, WNNL, JR, HL...

I think I'll have to pass this time, afterglow, though I am sorely tempted. I have enough nappies for a small army of babies!
UK parents lounge, Cloth nappy tree, both places to buy preloved nappies or sell them on, and also to chat.
UD is Upsy Daisy, UDNN is Upsy Daisy Night nappies, BBH is Baby Beehinds! It is all very confusing, I completely sympathise, it's taken me about two months to get the hang of it...
What's UKPL??
And CNT?
And UD, UDNN, BBH.... help!
hmmm good point. I put all easily removable poo down the loo, even when dd was in disposables, the idea of having it sat in the bin for a fortnight at a time was too gross. Perhaps I would just try to potty train her.
That sounds like good shopping. Hopefully more pp will turn up over time.
afterglow - I am pretty sure even eco disposables take years to degrade in a compost heap. And if you were to do it at home you would have to be extremly careful as I think the germs that breed on poo are dangerous. WHich is why you are meant to tip poo down the loo, even in disposables (not that I know anybody who actually does this). But I think it is about 100years to degrade even eco ones - so you would need a very big compost heap!
But I get your point about the lack of power and water etc.
I was meant to be saving all my PP for a big UD order, but as they said to wait and see as they are going to add new porducts - I waited, but now all the money has gone

. I did get lots of UDNNs though, more than if I wa ordering new. And more BBH, Wn wraps and a few other bits.
I think £9.50 each posted, or £9 each posted for more than one, including the standard inserts. I have a mixture of blue/choc, pink/choc, navy/cream and a single ruby/cream (that has matching red poppers on the insert!) If it helps at all, I wouldn't be posting for at least a week as I need to check that the large is a better fit. To be brutally honest, I'm finding that the medium is still a good fit during the day but once we do the extra boosting at night it is starting to gape round her legs. dd is about 22.5lbs so I'll give the large a go, definitely at least for nights.
The green-me site has "everyday" ecobubs (no wool, fewer poppers) for quite a good price so I'll try one of those too.
Oooooooooh afterglow!!! I have just taken a painful hit with some bedbugs! How much are you after?

hi everyone, sorry for not being around, have been out doing summer stuff,dd now walking and talking, all fun. Everything very mundane in our nappy world, all working ticketty-boo.
I've only scanned the last couple of pages, will catch up soon. Hope everone and their LOs are all well.
Swampster, are you still interested in medium Ecobubs? I'm just about to start getting large ones for dd.
I'm curious about the idea of stockpiling cloth nappies for the breakdown of the supply chain. Personally I would actually get bio disposables and the means to compost them. In the worst case scenario we could be looking at reduced availability of power/water, in which case washing nappies wouldn't be my top priority.
Can anyone tell me how the new Lollipop compares to BG for toddlers? dd seems to have stoppped ripping the velcro open on her bg.
I have tots wraps - they are cool boys colours - orange, blue or green stars are smart. Also motherease ocean and savanna.
yes i have that problem too, even with a newborn in them.
nappy addiction is a serious problem you know

DH is always on at me for buying more nappies lol
am still on the look out for wraps, not finding anything i like. is it me or is CNT mainly girl focused atm? all i can find is pink ittis, pink wraps, purple pockets...
grrr i want to buy nappies.

I adore Blueberries too but they do tend to go damp around the legs rather quicker than I expect them to.
Phew, was just about to buy an orange tree frog slinki minki from CNT but seem to have been pipped to the post. Also was turned down today on my offer for some huggles - probably for the best!
having 8 arms can be useful, you may think it looks a bit funny, but it helps me to hold all my children, and tickle each one on the tummy...

I love blueberrys too

I am going to start stocking bambinex btp bamboo soon - like the meos one but velcro closing. Will be here when get back from hols.
The most number of nappies I have had at one time not including stock - for one baby is 45

notcitrus - I am also a fan of the Blueberry. It's a pocket, not an aio, but very luscious. Also tres cher, though...
I have been thinking smugly to myself recently about how completely ok I'll be in the event of the total breakdown of society and the unavailability of disposable nappies (due to swine flue, nuclear meltdown etc - I watched that Survivors and got a bit freaked out!). And if I keep going at the rate I have been since I joined in on this thread, I'll have enough cloth nappies to clothe the bottoms of all my friends'/relatives'/ random accquaintances' babies too!!
As we were talking AIOS - there is a large ME AIO on UKPL for 50p plus postage.
I can't keep off the classifieds! I am on there daily looking out for UDs as they go so fast. But while I am there I end up buying loads of other stuff!
Does anybody know where I can buy bamboo MEOS? Or how much £ we are talking?
Sorry Swampster [holds head in shame]
What are groups of pigs called?
[disappointed] Even I herd three!
<<whispers>> Four bedbugs. <<cackles>>
I use fuzzis most of the time
*swampster: oooh, new Bedbugs! You've got me jealous!

So will this bring your total of Bedbugs up to 3 now?
I've not bought any nappies lately!

Well, not in the past 10 days!

boo hoo In fact, I think my idea to start sewing extra things (rather than just clothes for my kids) was to keep me from nappy shopping/browsing, as I really have plenty of nappies and don't need
anything! But I just never stop
wanting more nappies - and classified boards are
very hard to resist!

As for larger bottomed little ones, I'd think Fuzzis would be good. They're quite good sized for all shapes, and come in XL too, if necessary.
justcallmedog: not sure if you're still about here, but just wondered if you still wanted the UDOS minki pocket nappy? I sent a CAT last week but never heard back from you.

LMAO

- only 3! Octo came from when was pg with ds3 - he was like a giant octopus in my tummy - was called octopussyintummy - then he came out and I retrained as a childherder!

DH would like more but had terrible SPD with ds3 so very unlikely! 8 would mean moving house and buying a VW transporter ...
8. If she is Octo it has to be 8. All those nappies.
All those socks!
<<runs screaming>>
How many children do you herd, Octo?
Aw thanks Baronconker

DS2 had sudden high temp and cough today ... DONT PANIC

- he seems okay - kept him off school - worried about hols

as due to fly out on weds! Rang docs about anti-viral drugs and them said as no-one swabs anymore it could be anything and not to worry

Busy busy busy bee atm - nappies, packing, washing, ironing, packing, more packing, feeding herd, picking veg for teachers, packing ...

Boffinmum - boots for plastic pants. Very cheap. What size are you looking for? I am sure I had some somewhere that you could have but I have no idea where! They were large though?
In fact - I think I recongnise you from the april 09 threads? I haven't been on since Talia was about 2 weeks old though

. Too busy chatting nappies!
Bummer Swapster.

notcitrus - then be wary of itti's, they are petite.
I reckon they will have to start doing an extra large.
If you've got a chubbybottom I'd forget about Ittis though.

Sorry, nocitrus, that was aimed at tree.
Sorry, mate. A bedbug ate yer bung.

Thanks people - will look into the Lollipop and Itti... I want bright fun patterns/colours!
I have some BumGenius but they are a bit narrow for MrChubbyBottom and leak - even after I realised the inserts go inside the actual nappy not just like a pad.
They do sell the plastic pants in Boots - SIL2 used them until I farmed my Bumgeniuses onto her tall skinny ds where they fit perfectly!
I agree. Lend us a hundred quid would you mate?
<<packs bags and grabs passport>>

You know, I think if I had a windfall of a hundred quid that is what I would do! Really I suppose I ought to treat myself or my husband or even something as a
couple.
Nah...buy nappies

tree, it is your duty to buy an Itti in every colour and size [stern].
Thanks for the advice everyone - those thirsties wraps are a bit too small though for ds. I'll have a scout around though.
BoffinMum, I think they sell the plastic pants in Boots.
I don't think you could get those plastic ones - but motherease airflow etc in PUL fabric are all still knocking about pre loved and new.

If civilisation is coming to an end - do I have an excuse to buy every colour Itti?

I realise that read a bit oddly - what I mean is, if stocks of disposables run out when we all keel over and the supply chain fails.
Ladies, a question for you. I have some terry towelling squares I would like to be able to use as an emergency measure in case of swine flu eco-disposable shortages, but I am wondering whether it is still possible to buy the plastic pants I used to use over them in the 1980s? I assume the disposable liners are the same as ever.
Pop'n'grow [soft lovely nappy quite bulky on smaller babies], also Beehinds magic-alls [very soft and lush and strokable like an itti, slower to dry] and Thirsties AIO too [practical no wow factor but very usable, bombproof on mine anyway.
Would you look at pockets [BumGenius is as easy as a disposable and is the same sort of shape] and FuzziBunz, very easy adn dependable.
You need at least one Itti Bitti D'lish for fun. It is the way of things and the law.

notcitrus - I am currently loving the Lollipop pop n gro, which is an all-in-one with velcro, has lovely bright colours, and seems spectacularly absorbant so far! Got one to test when they were launched and have just bought two more. A lovely lady from this thread called octothechildherder sells them on her nappy wardrobe website...
I have kushies but THINK all the large ones sold. Will check for you though.
Ittis are the best all in one I have tried but they are expensive - about £9 each second hand. MUCH nicer than kushies though. Although they are poppers.
Have you thought about pocket nappies? Then it goes on and off like an AIO but comes apart for washing and drying?
Hello - can anyone recommend brands of all-in-ones with velcro?
I've got a couple Kushies which are fab and planning to get more as it's getting hard to get nippas and nappy and wrap on Mr Speedy. My parents would also appreciate idiot-proof nappies (and probably his nursery where he's about to go).
Keep seeing ads for Kushies but mainly too small - need 22-35 lb ones.

swampster
Oh bugger! I just bought
Purple Haze AND Stormy Skies #3!.

But they were on sale. With a 20% discount. So only just over £17 each posted from the USofA.

cheers Baron! Won't tell, shuuush shuuush everyone

Will post tomorrow.
Jenny - bargain!
I have just bought 5 more baby beehinds from UKPL. £25 for 5 posted - can't be bad. They are good on both the girls in the day and Talia is still just about getting away with them at nights.
Have also worked out that my size 2 bamboo clwt twt fit both of the girls which is good. Hopefully, I will eventually get rid of all the nappies that don't fit both of them. Except UDs - there has to be a special allowance for soy! I have asked them about a onesize soy fitted and although they said they weren't planning on them, they did sound like they were thinking about it. Need lots of people to ask! LOL. And obviously night nappies need to be sized. Although mediums do actuallly fit both of them! But large is better on Elouise and she needs the extra absorbancy really.
tree cross your heart and promise not to tell anyone on CNT, I sent it gifted!! (huge no-no emoticon)
So will PM you my address as it won't be on the paypal notification.
Paid you £5 for each, is that ok? Now just hoping I can get the hang of a nippa, I don't have any pins either!!!
Scotia - same here with ME although she has got better with age.
Thirsties wraps are working well for us too, although they are a tidy fit. Somewhere has them on sale...maybe greenjelly or nappyzone.....
Scotia: Have you tried the newer style Tots Bots wraps? I've just got some the other day and very impressed! Totally waterproof (no leaks, even under a totally sodden bamboozle on my 2yo!). It's the ones with newer bindings. However, these are similar to ME (but wrap is quite different fabric) so might be worth a try! Though I'd advise trying one first before getting more, in case it doesn't work. Maybe you could post a swap somewhere and ask to trade a ME wrap for a new style bindings Tots wrap?

Baron - I'm off to the post ofice soon so if you email me your address to the same account as paypal I will get your nappies off today. But will be able to post again soon so no worries. x
scotia we cant use ME either same problems. dont have the same problem with my baby beehinds wraps, or my cotton bottoms. infact ive not had that problem with any other wrap ive tried, i thinks its a problem with ME.
id advise going on CNT and buying one of each type you can and trying that.
Oh, and does anyone have anything suitable they might be selling?

I need help!
Ds wears ittis and weenotions in the daytime and fitteds at night. I've just bought a load of motherease wraps, but every morning he has red rings round his tummy and thighs. I bought larges in case the mediums were too tight and causing this but he was the same this morning and the wrap was quite loose on him, so I think he must be allergic to the binding.
I do have one red tots fleece (from rachelinscotland!) and he seems better with that one. So I think I'm going to have to sell all my motherease wraps and get more suitable ones.
Tell me what's best please! Fleece or woolies? And will they both not leak through onto his babygros. He's 6 months and around 17lbs.
6.50 inc post, pls

and can post Weds, if paying tmrw.
oh and tree i prefer pins too, although i worked out how to use nippas the other day lol
lol

ok will pp tomorrow waiting for funds. how much?
natty: Yes, I'm sure Clement wore them over a size 1 Tots. But his tummy & thighs got tooooo fat to fit anymore!

do you think they would fit over a size 1 totbots?
Baron - lol at the krispie cake incident and the planets. Fab.
I have a nippa you are welcome to, if I can dig it out. I use pins when in the fluffle! I know! No one uses pins anymore but me
Imagine what nappies will be like in another 5 years!
<<daydreams>>
No message yet but will get packaged up so your mega fluff arrives soon.
natty: Yes, newborn woolies are still for sale!

All yours, if you like!

Can even post out today (by 1st class too, so you get them quickly!). email for paypal is rachelinscotland@gmail.com if you decide!

xx
swampster, I was so easily put off by all the foldy-outy bits that I plumped for bambino mios - big mistake! it wasn't until I was invited to a lollipop nappucino when DS1 was about a year old (he used to have reflux and I vividly remember him vomiting onto a plate of krispie cakes!) that I had a revelation and bought my first ever rainbow fleece lollipop pocket!! And the planets aligned, and I heard the sound of distant choirs singing allelujah.....
All those prefolds came in handy to stuff my new pockets, so it turned out ok in the end.
Baron, that was me in 2003 getting ready for DS1's arrival early in 2004! Fluffy addiction was much harder work back then.
Love your house, tree.

tree just messaged you on CNT - I'm hatesjazz!!
Could I have a nippa added in as well, please? I've never done them so I dont' have any.
I remember being pregnant with my first, sitting in my friend's back garden as we both waited to go into labour, going through the big pack of nappies she'd bought from Twinkle and trying to figure out how they all worked! It was 2003, there were some quite strange nappies around, with all sorts of foldy-outy bits and peices that I think were supposed to make them easier to dry [hmmm] The nappies now are SOOO much nicer, I don't think they even had pockets then!
mmm, nice eye make up, William Shatner!
tree - are your fluffles nippa or aplix? Not that I really care, I just have never done nippas and feel a bit scared of them... Anyway, I will pay you the amount you've quoted on CNT, you need funds for more fluff!
My husband will go ape if he finds out I'm buying more nappies! I used to justify it by saying that I sold as many as I bought but I feel I've tipped over into the 'way too many nappies' zone now! The way I see it, DS3 is my last baby, he's nearly 18 months, so i don't have much longer to indulge my 'hobby'. Once he's PT'd, I can sell them all and that will be that. Au revoir to the land of fluff

tree - that looks like my cupboard under the stairs - which has been over taken by nappies waiting to be sold

Life with too many fluffles
my houseThey would be cute this colour. Right - bed!!
Must go to bed and stop fantasy shopping

Baron - no message through yet but name your price my dear.

And any of us gals of course!
I think we are all the same Octo! They seem so tiny to me already, and she is only 6 months. I remember being on this thread at 34 weeks and just
waiting, and getting out all my fluffy post on the bed to play with. The napppies seemed huge then, and all the wondering what the devil to do with them, how the inserts worked and the poppers and all the bits.
Sigh. Precious days.
Now she is flopped in bed next to me in a TotsBots red fleece and a NatureBabies Diddy Diaper down to her knees

I think RachelinScotland sold me it - but don't qoute me.
Oooh I have nevernappies! An xs weenotions blue microfleece, the UD handpainted, zoo print fuzzis ....
Oh God please do - I am overrun. Remember the the episode of StarTrek where the Enterprise is taken over with small squeking furballs - thats my nappy cupboard. Only they dont make noises. Much.
All on CNT - just little bits that I can't imagine anyone wanting. I have to sort of rev up to selling the nappies I am attached too <<clutches small red itti to heart and promises never to sell>>

where are they listed? think i missed them
tree - can I have a couple of your fluffles? Always wanted to try some but they dont' sell them anymore... Will message you on CNT too.
...then you should buy my lovables......

lol
rachel did u sell them newborn wool soakers?
am thinking of venturing into wool.. as enjoying using my TB/LL etc etc much more then pockets
Thanks
octo will prob email you again but enjoy your hols

Ooo Sardinia

Never been but Oh would like too.
Sorry haven't been on for ages - super busy and ds1 8th birthday

. Am off on hols to Sardinia on wednesday - very excited!!!

See everyone is still talking ittis! Have replied to your email ellielou

Happy nappying if I don't make it back before weds!

Will prob have to wrap them in tissue and ribbon etc as my first sale. T'is scary!
Dont panic tree! It will all be OK! LOL
Thanks! I don't actually expect to sell anything, so am astounded I have! A weenotions Hats has grown out of, and the fluffle aio we cant seem to stop leaking out of her leg. I think she is too skinny in the leg for TotsBots.
So am chuffed really!
Not expecting to sell the tiny stuff though, but I can say I tried and not feel too guilty about other purchases

well done tree

had a quick look

swampster, the WN wrap isnt really us, im not a fan of animal prints. sorry meant to say but things a bit hectic here

Ohhh I'm selling some nappies for the first time ever ever ever and I'm scared!!
Infact, on eis pending, after 30 mins. I didn't even have chance to come and tell you all! They are on CNT and are nearly all newborn and size one things.
But if any of you want anything you can sure jump in

This is nerve wracking!
5 new BBH bamboos on ebay, £11 each delivered (or slightly less for multiples).
jenny - Toby is 35lbs and in age 3 clothes, he can still be squashed in to large UDNNs, but the XLs are just so much nicer on him.
swampster - I hadn't realised DC3 was so young, they are ideal to see him through to PT! I much prefer loose woollies (boardie style cf. cycling short style!) anyway tbh - they still don't leak.
By this time next year I plan for Blake to be PTd and will be selling all of my stash except night nappies

, but keeping his personalised triple cut wrap that will be adorning the bum of his toy bunny!
My sister is pregnant but I think her plan is to use disposables. I think I will have to use lovely furry nappies whenever I am around her for the next 7 months to see if she will be taken in by the fluffyness! LOL. Not going to go on at her about it or anything though as I don't think it is fair. But will just show off the nice nappies!

If she has a girl, I might even pass on my small itti to her, to try out (its pink). And if I stil have any small nappies at the time, offer to lend them to her.
I have bought quite a few WN wraps preloved recently. Just have to check for sale boards everyday! Still looking for more medium and large though.
Got a medium fleece UD wrap on its way for £4 posted - sounds good!
Anybody know what age a large UDNN should last till? Am thinking that both of the girls will be in them at the same time, as I am guessing Elouise will be in nappies for at least a couple more years? Dont really know as havent done that bit before!
Am Jelous of 4 having such a long camping trip!
Am never parting with our one and only small red itti either. Will go in memory box with tiny babygrow etc. Sigh.
Natty, I am still not too sure how I feel about ittis. The girls have one each so far, and love the look/feel of them (I didnt like the look of them till I actually had one here). But havent had them long enough to comment on reliability. Did have first leak this morning, but was a huge poo and a medium itti on Talia, so probably would have been better with a small. I have a small on the way (only because it was a bargain at £6 posted).
Natty - are you still looking for size 1s then? I am thinking about selling my lollipop bamboos

. They are just getting a bit small now really. They are well used but no stains and still perfectly functional. Probably looking for about £4 posted for one or cheaper for more (as postage would be less).
Did you not want my WN wrap then, Natty?
tcb, DS3 isn't quite six months yet, it will be a while before he fills those longies.
You have spare time, rach? Sweet dress.
tree, DS3's small brown Itti is almost too small. When he's out of it, I have a teddybear who will wear it - not selling that nappy ever! I was dithering over buying him a medium or a large in brown and as I dithered a few extras made their way into my trolley. Then I realised that for the money I saved by not buying those items, I could have a Bedbug. And some woollies...
rachel i like it too, tho perhaps some nice pretty prints as well as the patterns? something like the limited edition cotton on the WN site?
WN are doing tshirt and nappy sets, but only in the AI2, which i dont like the look of much
rusmum im looking for WN wraps too, there really isnt much out there atm

HI all whats new??? Not ben on in q while. My bamboo sandys are divine- really loving them now need some WN wraps and disana for night then sorted. But nothing seems to be selling at the moment so have to wait for funds!
rachel I like it - I love my strawberry fields itti so i've been taking DS3 out in it without any trousers on, on hot days! For boys maybe longish t-shirts? I've got two long t-shirts for DS3 that I just use without anything on the bottom half, so they're a bit like a dress, and then just have a cool nappy on underneath. Do get some funny looks around here though, the whole village already thinks I'm barking because I breastfeed my babies and use cloth nappies and carry them around in slings!
Ooooh I keep doing that!

As in I posted on your link. Tut!
swampster those woollies are fab! Blake's are a 21 inch rise too - ideal for over toddler bedbugs. In fact, if you fancy seling them on at any point ....

I think it's a great idea - that dress would be perfect with a strawberry fields itti

Now, if only you could think of something similar for little boys...
can I be naughty and link offsite to ask the opinion of you lovely ladies?

now I'm not actually selling anything (or a business!), so please don't report me!

but just trying to see if my idea is silly, or possibly genius!

(just kidding about genuius!) ok here goes:
www.clothnappytree.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=22007
swampster: love the woolies!

We'll be waiting for action pics, you know! And what's the Bedbug like? Exciting! We want pics when they arrive, OK?!
TheNatty: yes, nippa nappies are my absolute favourite for Clement!

Don't really like them for Benjamin (who moves around too much) but they're sooooo good for getting the perfect fit on young babies! And he can already wear size 2 Tots Bots as well, as long as they're nippa fastening. Though he can still (just) squeeze into the size 1s.
tree: yes, I love Clement's shirt too! My cousin's wife (in USA) sent it over for him, arriving just in time for our recent "heat wave", and it went so nicely with the lime green Fuzzi!

It was a 2 pack - I think the pic of him on the cushion is a green striped shirt with car? it was the other one in the pack. Anyway, they're Carters brand - and I love the colours/patterns they do with baby/children's clothes - not all the boring stuff we get here!

Quite right Tree!
Yes Natty that's the problem - should really have half a dozen of the same nappies to go with each top! I suppose the answer is to buy fancy wraps but they seem so much more expensive.
I've bought a brown itti. I've done it at last!
I've wanted one for 6 months and if I cant have ione when I have swine flu when can I?
ah yes same here, matching clothes to tops. unfortunatly i tend to find only a few nappies match, and when u have to change them they then look odd lmao
Tree, it's lovely. I think it's easier with dds to show off their nappies with little dresses. I've been using ds's nappies as shorts in the good weather with t-shirts. He's got on a royal blue itti atm with a striped top - lovely until he needs a nappy change

Rachel - I heart Clement. Fuzzis rock! That tshirt looks mint. Is anyone else buying clothes to match their nappies?

I want a brown itti, and this top to wear with
bargainI want! <<stamps trotter>>
TheNatty, I've got some size 1 nippa totsbots I'm selling on ukpl. They are unbleached organic cotton and 5 are prewashed only and the other one has hardly been used - I'll do them for £13 posted if you are interested.
charlie is in muslins and wraps today, as pocket inserts not dry yet, and avoiding tumble dryer use (my poor electric meter is suffering)
not to bad actually, am changing him every 1-2 hours, which considering he feeds that often doesnt bother me!
ooh and i got the hang of nappy nippas today, so easy why did i find them so hard on DD????
so any size 1 nippa nappies floating about in your fluffy boxes ladies

send em this way!
TheNatty - get large. Harriet can wear all 3 sizes fine at the mo, she is about 13lb and average length [50th centile length, 9th weight] If you hate you can sell, they sell no problem I think.
Swampster - am

at those longies. They rock.
4 - happy hols!
Lots going on here - good to see plenty of fluffy post is happening.
are you loving the ittis too then jenny? im in two minds whether to get them as they seem to be so small.
Lovely swampster.
Talia had a major leak from her itti. Hoping it doesn't stain! I didn't even notice till it was all over my jumper and trousers! And obviously her babygrow! The pink minki was cover too so hoping it comes out! Went pretty much straight in the wash though as I was about to do the nappy wash anyway. Maybe the small that is on the way will be a better fit for now.
I just bought
some woollies!!! The blue, gorgeous ones. To go with my brand new Bedbug. <<crawls back under rock to live on gruel for the next year>>
Baron, if you send gifted, you've got no comeback if your fluff doesn't show up whereas if you send a payment you can make a claim. I think there has been a little too much fraud so CNT is probably trying to protect, albeit in a really judgeypants way. I always send gifted - it is a risk I am prepared to take for fluffy love.
Thanks
jenny
anything is a help

4 - have a lovely time in France spreading itti love to our continental cousins! Am off out to buy some pomegranate (Sp?) Bold!
I always send gifted it it's a small amount and it's for nappies - just feels like a nicer thing to do! Do you think the people who run CNT got bollocked by paypal or something? Maybe paypal don't like it cos they don't get their fees and are threatening not to let CNT use them anymore if it keeps happening. That's the only thing I can think of, but I still can't understand why all the members are so evangelical and emoticonish about it all!

JennyPenny,
Ellielou - I have replied to your thread, but don't think I was actually very helpful!

Swapster - I bought 3 out of the 4 nappies you linked to! There goes another £30 that I planned to spend on UD! LOL. But I have been wanting to get a large for Elouise for ages. And the mediums, well, erm....they just looked so pretty

lol swampster

I heart you rachel!
Let me know when you find the ultimate answer, ellielou as I am too darn lazy to do my own research.
yep, I still had the photo of the WN wrap on my computer (along with thousands of other photos of things I've sold/swapped!

) So I've just uploaded it here for you:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/misc/WNwrap.jpgI
think I was asking around 6 quid for it, but don't know if that's the going rate or not!
Hello Ladies I wonder if anyone can help me with
this
There you go, once again I get my nappies confused.

I just went back for my (new!!!) Bedbug!
ignore me - just went to find it for you and saw you have already been there! LOL
ignore me - just went to find it for you and saw you have already been there! LOL
Swapster - the link was for a flutterby dyed WNNL. Although the title did look a bit like there was a flutterby fluff as well. But just a WNNL which was dyed by Hanna at flutterby! You got me all excited!
I got 2 more large UDNNs today as my fluffy post. And another WN wrap in medium for Talia.
I am probably going to sell my ME small wraps if anybody knows anybody that is interested? Talia is in medium WN and although she still has plenty of room in the small ME, we just don't use them anymore.
And she is growing out of her small lollipop wraps too (which is annoying as although they were plain white, they were very reliable!).
Natty - I am sure I have seen some small WN on CNT. Not sure if they are still there or if they were girls/boys though
It is yours if you want it, Natty - though I don't know how much to ask for it. Offers? I don't suppose you still have a picture of the WN wrap easily accessible, rachel and how much would you ask for it?
I do stick a fitted on him from time to time, especially if I want to cover him in bum-cream. But my fave non-pocket combo is a Sugar Peas wrap with the hemp popper-in thingy.
That's a pity about the Bedbug,
swampster!

Poor you! I hope you get to try one eventually, as I'm sure you'll like them!

So is it really just pockets you use in the days? I think I'd really miss fitteds if I used pockets all the time!

lol
oh i read that as u were selling it to rach.. lol
yes please.
anyone with smalls as well, i want to try a few for fit before ordering him one with his name on it

swamp can i be cheeky? i want it!
Can I interest you in rachel's-now-my medium giraffe WN wrap? It is lovely, with blue inside but I am Mrs Pockets and when I do use a wrap it is usually Sugar Peas fleece or wool cause I really love them.
rach they dont appeal to me either. we should set up a 'no itti love' support group

im craving a nice wrap.. really dont want to wait weeks for UD or WN to make me one.. anyone know of any other makes?
Shame on you, rach, for not feeling the Ittilove! I blow hot and cold on them. My Bedbug story is very sad. I realised it was a Tritone, not a Bedbug so I was going to swap it but I didn't like the Bedbug colours so much... so I swapped it with a friend who had something I neeeeeeeeded.
<<am I the
only one who really doesn't feel the Itti love???>>

LOL <<guess I better hide!>> ... I sold mine before I ever used them! Well, maybe tried once but just didn't fancy them!
swampster: How did you get on with your Bedbug??

Now
that is something to love, IMHO!

I am quite shocked. I just tried a large Itti on DS3 and it FITS. He is still in his small Itti.

I guess I won't be bothering with the mediums after all though I'm sure they would look cuter.
Oh, and clementinscotland is a real cutie, rach.
When you get back is fine, no rush at all.
Are you sure you don't mind, i will be back on the 9th August i can pay that day. (Unless i get internet access abroad as im taking my little notebook with me and then i can do it thurs)
Do you want me to save them for you? You are very welcome to them and could obviously have a couple of pounds off.
2climbing-If those grobag jimjams don't sell by the time i get back i'd love to buy them all (although i know they'll probably get snapped straight away!)
I have just sent her her cash back

This is my thread on cnt complete with sad "complete no no" emoiconsI usually send gifted if i have funds just so that i don't have to pay the fees, and if i had
asked for gifted pp i could understand their condescending manner but i didn't it was just how she sent it!
Baron-Glad it got to you ok, yes that is bold 2in1 the orange boxed one pomegranate and orange blossom (i just made dd1 check

)
Right my van is now full to the brim and we can literally fit no more in, so if i have forgotten anything it's tough!
4 how did anybody find out you took gifted paypal? TBH I always send gifted. My theory is, that even if, once in a while, i loose some money from a nappy going missing, I will still have lost less money than if I was paying fees each time.
I have bought a small itti for talia and praying it still fits. Have been avoiding buying smalls but for £6 posted I couldn't really complain!
natty: as for how small the Disana wool is, it might depend on what kind of nappies would be worn under it - lasting lots longer if it was slim ones like Sandy's. Clement was nearly 9lbs at birth and I
think he wore it till he was a 3-4 weeks old, maybe a bit longer. I had too many covers really, so didn't use it all that much. But Clement was (and is!) very very wide around his tummy, so a lot of things he outgrew in the tummy before anywhere else! lol
twoclimbingboys: Yeah, I don't know how he got so big either! LOL He's already 16lb 4oz at 3 months, so he's going to be one heavy baby! He's nearly outgrowing 3-6m clothes (which he's been in since 6 weeks) and his
medium Airflow covers are on the largest poppers!

Soooo different from my first baby (daughter) who could wear the same clothes for nearly a year! LOL
4: Yes, I find the rules about personal payment quite extreme. I'm quite OK with telling people it's
not allowed to ask/require for gifted payment, but I actually got told off because I told someone I would send them a gifted payment! They didn't ask for one...and I thought
surely I have a right to send a mere £1.24 by gifted payment, rather than add on an extra £0.35 or whatever in fees! Surely I can take a risk if I want - but nope, not allowed!
tree: Sorry we've confused you! Well, not me!

But just a dear MNer who is namechanging to say she's our own dear children, to let us know what they might like to tell us!

LOL

OMG - I have 1)changed how mn looks so am all confused 2) spent ages working out the theft identity 3) got confused aboout someone being shouted at on CNT for stealing identities 4)got a temp and feel shocking
<<falls over>>
<<crawls in to bed clearly unable to process information>>
grinI could have a
lot of shopping accidents when I'm this confused and doddery.
4 - got the insert today, thank you! And it does smell lovely. Is it Bold that you use?
I usually use Bold 2 in 1 for all washing now. But, bambinex nappy wash is reduced to 82p in boots at the moment (from £3.42) so I have just bought 5 boxes off that for nappies.
I always use 2in1 and it is fantastic stuff, my nappies smell lovely and it makes the kitchen smell lovely when the washing machine is on

treedelivery - I do my nappies in biological stuff from time to time to de-whiff them, with no apparent effects. TBH, I'm not sure why I bother with non-bio at all, none of my kids are 'sensitive', you just sort of feel you ought to! It doesn't get stains out, it doesn't make things smell nice, and i NEVER use it for anything else except nappies, so maybe I should just dump the non-bio and use the hardcore stuff on everything!
Yeah!
And what's so funny about identity theft?

I meant its daft of them to give a bollocking - not you! How are you supposed to control how people pay?
sod it 4 that is just daft isn't it! who cares really? if you want to use the chat on cnt just continue!
Shock horror i got paid personal even though i only asked for my fees to be covered!
oh dear 4 what did you do wrong?
rachel - when did he get so big? he is really cute and looks about 12 months.
i am pmsl about his identity being stolen!
She sent it gifted so no addess, i will just refund. Got another bollocking on cnt, i think i shall only buy from there in future and keep away from chat!
how small is the newborn? really small?
so no one wanting a GK Funtime with GK inserts?

or I also have a newborn sized Disana wool pull-on pants!
Lol, he's really cute

Awwwwwwww Mum! You're sooooooooo embarrassing!
tree: I think Fuzzis are the only pockets I actually really like!

They are very reliable on Benjamin (2yo & heavy wetter) as long as stuffed with prefold (as microfibre doesn't work with him very well, unless there are lots of it! LOL) So I'll
never never get rid of my stash of large Fuzzibunz!

- but most other pockets I try, they get moved on before long!
And I tried your idea of Fuzzis as a wrap and a medium is lovely on Clement, even over a size 1 Cotton Tots!

As seen here:
1.bp.blogspot.com/_eH3zT2SZkKE/SlfE9N3PZhI/AAAAAAAAB38/o1pRxfjvF-A/s1600-h/pic80.jpgand one more pic, just because he's cute!

lol
3.bp.blogspot.com/_eH3zT2SZkKE/SlfGFq4D_NI/AAAAAAAAB5E/jJSL-ADX6EM/s1600-h/pic85.jpg
Hi all
2 exploding nappies here, we had to bath her in a toy box at preschool last week, today she had to go under the preschool tap, and into a size 5 disposable!
Happy shopping everyone.
LAst day at preschool for dd1

Nappies on line in torrential rain. Ah well, at least it's soft water

Have bought Bold powder to freshed the nappies up, they were starting to get a bit whiffy. Jenny so you still use it with no ill effects?
Have had a shopping accident [have a cold type thing so blaming that!

] and bought a BBSS from CNT. COuld have had a brown itti, but I only have on ss and I do like them very much.
Have decided itti sizes bear no relation to their fit or absorbancy. Harriet can wear sml, med and large and they all do fine. It seems so long as they close and don't gape at the leg they are bob-on.
Hatts went to bed in a Beehind magic all in one, we usually put a microfleece and fleece wrap on for the night about midnight. She slept from 10-5, oh the joy, and it didn't leak and it felt though dry.
Am now loving that nappy lol! I had stuffed an extra fuzzi bunz insert into it too, so it did a sterling job.
Are fuzzi out of favour now? I really like them still.
4 was it paypal? in which case i think u can get the address from therE?
Help! I sold some flexitots on tuesday and i have been contacting her ever since as i haven't got her address to post to, and i have to post today because i won't have time tommorow, do you think i should just refund the payment?
jenny try babylegs and denium dresses/skirts for the winter.

i found that girls trousers were just too slim cut to get over even the smallest cloth nappies. boys jeans are cut so much better and i dont have that problem at all! and you have funds

actually LMAO at the poo incident, ive not had that pleasure yet DS2 is doing frequent very small ones still.
first day on my own with all three DC... eek!
4 that sounds lovely about all those ittis! I still haven't tried Elouises large on her. I am thinking I might stock up on some as and when they come up preloved (IF this one suits her that is) for in the winter when she needs to wear trousers. At the moment her nappies are too bulky - it doesn't help that she has very short legs so getting a bigger size doesn't work. She is constantly in skirts and dresses but that won't work in winter!
I have Just filled a
huge holdall with
all our itti's to take to France on Saturday there must be nearly 40 plus bbh's for nighttimes

baron-holt is about 15 miles from me give or take, we could have had a clothie meet!
I missed the FF too

. grrr - I would have probably got it if I was hope all day.
Went to thorpe park today. Got to the car park and thought I would change both the girls so I could leave the dirty ones in the car and then not have to worry for a few hours as the changing facilities there are not good(Used Night nappies!). Anyway, Opened Talia's nappy, didn't even realised she had pooed and OMG it FLOODED everywhere with runny BF baby poo!!! LOL. It spatted everywhere! I had it on my hand, used tonnes of baby wipes, went all over her clothes - she even got some on her face!! Sorry to go into detail but I just couldn't believe the amount that came out of such a small baby!! LOl. BUT the good news is that the nappy hadn't actually leaked. It was only when I opened it, unprepared that it went everywhere. Not a single drop had come out before that - not even on the wrap! That was with a size 1 tots bot and a medium WN wrap.
Am really

that I tried giving DD2 a bottle of EBM today and she wouldn't take it. DD1 never took a bottle and it was really hard and I swore I wouldn't make the same with DD2 and express regually and give it to her in bottle. I did it for a while but then life and convience got in the way and I just BF as it was easier than doing bottles. I just hated the issue with DD1 - I couldn't so much as go to the supermarket on my own - even when DH was at home. Going to keep trying.
boo hoo , i missed the ff.

TWOCLIMBINGBOYS

drlove a really nice FF has been listed on cnt.
I am thinking of buying a few medium Ittis to take on holiday... or do I just take a holiday from cloth??? will DH notice if I get more nappies? Sadly, yes, I think.

- loads happened today, i sent my seller a wee message to say i'd got the wrong nappy , and then i went out after waiting for a bit .when i got back there was a lovely message for me, the poor girls all embarrised and offered to reimburse the money and give me something for the trouble

, was really sweet. BUT i had just decided to pass the nappy on to a friend ,( well i have two who could use it tbh )so i just sent her message back its ok..have found someone who will give it a good home! ....so alls good...

.
im gonna look into the ittis, but im hankering after a flutterby , dont know what DH will think about it. Im getting so addicted to cloth if the door goes in the morning , he says " that'll be more nappies for you d" lol

....well its better than handbags, at least the cloth gets used everyday!
4 - was in Holt. I think that's quite near you, is it? We spent one day on the beach at Wells, and one on the beach at Sheringham, a short visit to friends in North Walsham, plus an awful lot of time round the campfire drinking vin rouge.
Top camping tip - lots of red wine and a piriton, guaranteed good night's sleep!! I had to sleep with DS1 on a semi-deflated airbed (he popped it - grrr...) with him rolling onto me all night from the still-inflated side, and I still was completely out for the count!
JustcallmeDog: Sure, no problem! UD minki (red/orange) nappy all yours!

Paypal to rachelinscotland@gmail.com would be great and you can send me your postal address to the same email addy above. Will get it posted to you in the morning!

Thanks! x
Hi sorry rachelinscotland I would love to buy reddy coloured nappy from you please but will pass on the other one. Can you Cat me some payment details? Thanks
Baron-Ooh were you at hunny?
baronconker - the waiting time at UD and WN can be a while though, so they must be really busy!
drlove8 - I would personally contact her and ask if you can return it for a refund? Ittis are fab, really compact but tiny in the rise - Blake had awful builder's bum in the larges and loads of leaks.
well i think the prices have droped a bit too, but mabey thats because everyone is turning to cloth now .i dont have any ittis, am i missing out on cloth lushness???
was preloved from cnt! the seller is very nice(i think shes a mntter

) so i think it was a genuine mistake! just a bit

about complaining as she is so nice .
Is it just me, or are preloved nappies going for less than they used to? When I first started selling mine on I used to get good prices but nowadays they seem to sit on sites for months and months with no interest until I drop the price right down! Maybe there are just so many around now, and so many people on places like this buying and selling. Feel bad for all the poor people making the new ones, hardly anyone seems to buy any that aren't preloved! Except Ittis - everyone seems to be buying them!
drlove8 - When i ordered my strawberry fields itti they sent me a pretty in pink instead - not good as I have three boys, and it's VERY pink! I phoned and they posted the right one straightaway, and included a prepaid envelope to send the wrong one back. Meant I had to wait three more days for my nappy which I was a bit gutted about... where did you buy yours from?
lol 4! if your not on here, then we
know what your up too !

.... lol good luck with the babymaking! ( well you've got to keep on useing the cloth!)

i had fluffy post today ...... but its not good!

... one of the nappies is the wrong size !!!! argh!....and its the green

- its a medium instead of a large! advice ladies?

[

what do i do?
baron he is in pockets during the day no problems so far. he is one of those babies that do loads of tiny poos, so im changing him every 1-2 hours because he has pood, but they are not explosive up the back jobbys yet. will see if they get much worse lol, might be able to get away with just pockets during day and 2-parters at night.
4 - just noticed your address, we were in your part of the world camping at the weekend, if I'd known we were going to end up doing a fluffy trade I could have done it door to door!! I'm still picking sand out the kids' hair (and nappies...)!
Natty - sorry, it's not fleece, although it's got some fleece around the cuffs... Don't worry, I'll find someone to palm them off on! they really aren't fluffy, they're all very boring and plain white, so I can see why you wouldn't get very excited!! I had some little slinki-minki pockets when DS3 was tiny, a blue sheep one and an orange stars one, and they were spectacularly cute and fluffy! Not entirely sure about the wisdom of pockets on newborns, though.
baron after something fluffy

is the stacinator fleece? cant remember

TheNatty - the little wraps i put up for sale haven't been snapped up by anyone, so if you want any of them FFP they're yours - would like the space under my bed back! I've got a stacinator, a nature babies poppered in yellow, a prowrap, an imse vimse night wrap...
apologies for all those typos! was feeding charlie and spooning weetabix into ellens mouth at the same time.
<<supermum emoticon>>

wow
4 good luck with ttc

<<secretly

>>
sorry ive not been on much, had a very hard week with BF, been having to express from one side and its all very time consuming to pump then feed, then wash and sterlise. by the time uve done all that its time to pump again..

things sorted now tho

Charlie is in cloth full time now, was using dispos at night just to use the packet u had up but his is constantly leaking thru the sides of the nappy

he now fits his BG's, HH and WNOS, BBOS still on the large side tho.
i want to order him a WN wrap to go over his night time nappies (tots bots, LL etc) but resisting the urge in case something come up on CNT

She gets her appetite from her mum
<<wipes crumbs from keyboard>>
4 - good luck with the ttc. DD4 sounds cute - there's nothing wrong with a healthy appetite!
Im trying desperately for a fifth

Haven't had any periods yet though as dd4 is still guzzling my milk throughout the day and night as well as eating anything she can get her hands on

Baronconker - i know what you mean about hormones, I so want a third....
I am still selling some stacinator wraps in toddler size (but sizes are a little small - these are smaller than tots, UD or WN XLs)and a rainbow striped size 2 tots fleece wrap, also a fab minkee large UD side snap pocket (chocolate with blue spots & the inner is blue microfleece).
Jenny - you don't talk too much at all. I am interested in what you say. I was baffled by Fi's response to you on cnt about soy. Did you know what she menat? I have seen Emma from Hollow Oak mention she is getting soy velour!
4 - am posting ruby BBOS to you today. So handy if you have more than one in nappies!
Also sold a couple of MEAIOs today on CNT although was beaten down on price quite severely!
My friend's baby, number 3, is due today, and she has been inspired to use cloth by DS3's cute fluffy little bum! I hope she likes it, and can't wait to see a teeny tiny in cloth again!I've given her my nature babies tiny white pocket, which I LOVED, and my adorable XS Sandy's. Hormones.....
Oh Jenny enjoy your day

I have just done all my parcels ready for dp to post, im going on dd1's school trip, well it's only going about 10 miles away to Sandringham for a walk in the woods and then games for everyone to join in but i heard there would be icecreams so i decided to take the dd's

Oh I hate packaging up, and the po trips. Yak. Don't rush for me, absolutely no need. Have emailed address. Have a great day tomorrow!
Have just parcelled up sooo many parcels. I HATE this bit! Lol. Going to Thorpe park tomorrow and hoping to stop at PO on the way as didn't make it there today. Will have my sister with me so she can stay in the car with the kids.
Can you email me your address tree? To jennifer _ webb @ hotmail. co .uk
without the spaces

Ok Jen, see what it costs, and we can stick some £££ on - whatever you would have expected on CNT.

Ignore me - found it!
Don't suppose anybody here has Nattys address? I lost it and need to post some nappies to her but she isn't on Msn so has probably gone to bed!

Shall I just post them to you tomorrow and see how much it costs and go from there? I don't even know where they came from so not worried about getting much.

OOooOOOooo yes please Jenny. Sorry, been away from laptop lanolising my wool! Have had it weeks and not lanolised it as too hot by far. SHe lived in the longies camping though. Fab things. Looking forward to chillier nights, she better not outgrow them before the autumn

So, charge whatever you would have on CNT, you need funds for schemes. They sound perfect for wet wipes.
I am using one of
these, I took out the pad thing and just filled it with water and a chamomile tea bag, and now we have warm water on hand all day. Probably costing a fortune in electricity. I want another for upstairs

I don't think BBH AIOs are hugely absorbent though I haven't had any leaks yet. BUT while they have a microfibre core, they come with a small insert. and I'm sure you could stuff them with something a wee bit more substantial.
make that 24 - just found an extra one!
Won't be offended if you don't want them by the way.
And LOL at fluffy scheme

Hi tree! Just seen your message about the liners. The very thin boosters are more like liners. In fact, that might be what they are meant to be?

. So Yes, probably suitable for what you want them for.
Have just counted 23 of the thin ones! LOL. As its you, I am happy to give them to you FFP if you like?
Glad you all listen to me!
Anybody know if a BBH AIO is more absorbant than an itti? I can't keep up with Talias wees

. Elouise is fine now though - although we cut down her milk and I think thats what did it!
Jenny - have replied on CNT to your boosters for sale.

Dunno why I didn't reply here

You
don't talk too much. I always read too! And you always have a fluffy scheme on the go, I find that very cheerful. x
Jenny, I may not post much but I listen to every word you say!

£11.50 sounds OK for a BBH AIO. I have a couple but I don't want to sit and stroke them all day like I do with Ittis.
Jenny don't be silly that's what this thread is for

Sorry, just realised I am talking too much
Steffi - will post tomorrow morning!
Jenny - no I don't use any extra boosters and they are changed every 3-4 hours but theinserts are never wringing wet then.
Anybody know how much a BBH AIO is worth? There are some mediums on CNT for £11.50
Going to get one for Talia, to try it out I think. Now got to decide on a colour!
4 - do you use the optional snap in booster? How long do your last between changes? Talias lasts 2-3 hours Max and that is with the booster. Can't imagin one lasting very long without it?
Does anybody want any cotten boosters at all? I have loads to go? Would do very cheaply? Mainly just enough to cover postage etc?
thanks. have got money. could you send me your address to my email?
sorry excuse my typing but am breastfeeding
Hi Jenny I would like it please. Am sending you the money now. Hurrah!
steffi - you are welcome to buy it. Don't feel you have to though as I am not in any rush to sell. It would be £10 including postage. Would prefer gifted paypal if possible? If you would like it, you can pay me at jennifer_webb@hotmail.co.uk and I can post tomorrow. As I said, I don't think I will have a problem selling it so don't worry if you change your mind or anything. (Can you tell that I actually really like it! LOL. If I had plenty of funds then I would keep it!)
OK, pics of GK Funtime:
Here is the outside of the nappy, which is a cotton fabric with PUL (waterproof) lining on the other side, aplix (velcro) isn't quite as white as when new but nothing too unsightly:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/nappies/GKoutside.jpgThis is the fleece inner - bit of bobbling but no stains:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/nappies/GKinside.jpgand this is the official insert, which I believe to be hemp, but can't be positive as it doesn't say:

Hi there,
I haven't posted on nappies and potty training for ages, but wondered if any clothies would care to help?
I have a cloth nappy review blog, but no babies in nappies anymore. I do check nappy retailers websites periodically, but I struggle to keep up with the latest manufacturers and styles.
The idea is that cloth users leave reviews for nappies they have tried.
I was wondering which products to add to the blog and you guys seem very up to date, so I wondered if you could tell me about any new nappies I have missed on the blog.
The blog is
here if you want to have a look.
Jenny the extra boosters that pop in under the hourglass insert are optional extras

Jenny the extra boosters that pop in under the hourglass insert are optional extras

Yes, second photo is the same nappy - it's the fleece lined inner of the same orange/red nappy! And there is a pocket between the two layers to put the absorbant bit (which I don't actually have - though if you don't have any inserts, I can see if I can find something to include!).
Going to get pics of other nappy....
Ohhh I love the first piccy, is the second the same one? [confused] is it just one you have? I would definitely like the orangey reddy one please it looks lovely
JustcallmeDog: the nappies I have are one size (i.e. birth to potty) - the UD one has poppers to adjust height but the GK is just aplix and can't remember how you fold it down to make it smaller (tho their website says, I'm sure) but seems very stretchy anyway so haven't bothered finding out the proper way to make it tiny! But both my 3mo
and 2yo son can wear it quite happily!

Don't yet have pics of the GK but will get some up shortly. Here are pics of UDOS:
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/nappies/udos.jpgand
i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk108/rachins_photos/nappies/udosinside.jpgAs I said, no insert with it, but can be stuffed with anything really!
Will get pics up later of GK Funtime. Was thinking of around 7 pounds for each (inc postage).
rachel what size are your nappies you have for sale? Do you have piccies? and how much do you want for them? ta

Thanks jennypenny what and where is cloth nappy tree? I am using some cotton some bamboo and some fluffles, I love the fluffles although they are very bulky, I am using their fleece wraps which again are lovely but I think they add to the aaaaaaaaaaaaaaz2bulkiness
I think my brains are going!

In the past 2 weeks I've
twice hung nappies outside to dry which hadn't been washed yet!

First time I noticed after hanging a few out, they just didn't seem to smell quite as fresh as I thought they should (you see, I use un-scented washing powder, so don't expect to smell fragrance - just clean nappies!) but when I looked at the washing machine I saw that they'd merely had their pre-wash/rinse cycle! And the second time (yesterday) I had put them through both the pre-rinse
and a full 60 degree wash, but without washing powder! And on that occasion they hung on the line for about 2 hours before I decided I was sure they'd not had soap and needed to go through again! Please tell me I'm
not the
only one in the world to be soooooooooo brainless!!

[blush}

LOL
BTW, anyone looking for one-sized pockets?

I've got 2 looking for a new home!
One is Upsy Daisy One-Size Pocket, minki gelato slush (I think!) it's a lovely red with orange mixed in - lovely & fluffy minki fabric, clean white fleece inner (no stains) - popper fastening, no insert.
and
Green Kids Funtime, yellow/green outer with dragonfly print - cute & unisex, with orignal GreenKids double insert, which I
think is hemp (though it doesn't say).
I'm really a fitteds & wraps/wool person!

So these need someone to love them! lol
Great news on Graze!
Go ahead and buy Jenny's nappies <<gracious bow>> I'm skint anyway and don't need new ones. Oh but I want I want I want!

Hi jenny that is fair enough- but if treedelivery doesn't want it then I shall.
Treedelivery I think it was you who recommemded Graze. I love it! My 2nd box came today- yummy!
Oh Jenny I think I will pass if that is ok. I'll never dry it, I am struggling with the itti inserts! Gave in yesterday and put them in the drier.
That said if you have passed up any buyer on my behalf I will absolutley take it as I don't want to be a stringer alonger. If you see what mean.
Alwys nice to invent new words!
I don't know about yuor itti, I only have experience of the snap in one. Sorry!
Am just about to list a large light blue ME airflow? £4 posted EEUC if anybody wants it?
Lol.
The WNNN - the inner is bamboo which has been dyed purple by previous owner to match the nappy. The outter is butterfly print - a mixture of pinks, purples and blues in a pattern. Its quite hard to explain

.
Its very lovely. If you send me a PM on CNT I can forward you the picture that was sent to me when I bought it! (my username is jennypenny).
There were some small ittis going cheap a while ago but I assumed they would be too small for Talia as she fits nicely in the mediums. Maybe they would fit then if your DD can still fit into them? Talia was 12lb when she was weighed about a week ago (she is a bit of a chunk! lol).
Regarding the large itti that came today - It didn't have the snap in booster? It is the AIO so the main booster thing is sewn on but has the snaps for a second booster that didn't come. Should it have had one? The Medium I bought on here for Talia did.
Hi Jenny - I forgot sorry missus [blsuh]!
What is the wnnn like? The link isn't working but a general description is fine for me.
On itti sizing - its odd. DD can wear a med or a large [at 6months and 12 lbs - a lightweight] and also a small. She is in a small now, and though the poppers are on the very last, it still fits fine and seems as absorbant. It has just as much booster really. The nappy looks too small but is in fact a very tidy fit. Maybe they last longer than we think, as we are used to mahooosive fluff bumbs?

Had lots of fluffy post today!
I got 2 medium SS UDNNs - which confirmed to me that the one I had was m/l rather than m (Was sold to me preloved as M). BUT both of them are soy but the snap in booster is something else! Think it is bamboo!
I also got a small UDNN from somebody else which is lovely and Talia will be trying it out tonight! its so dinky! But again, it isn't all soy! This time it is the other way round! The booster is soy and the rest is something else! Not too bothered as it will only fit for a few weeks. Has Anchor embordory on it!
I also got a "large" itti. Going to try it on Elouise when she wakes up from her nap. It looks very small though! I held it against the small UDNN and they are about the same size! If anything, the small UDNN is slightly bigger than the itti! LOL
hmmm - doesn't seem to work for me - is that link working for anybody else?
Hi steffi - The only medium I am selling at the moment is the girly one that I mentioned to tree. She hasn't been back on since so will check with her first if thats ok? It is gorgeous and in EUC and I would like £10 for it. It is the newest version of them and hasn't had much use. It is really lovely and if it weren't for the UDs I am getting then I wouldn't be selling it.Photos here:
... UNE014.jpg... UNE015.jpg
Baron - I have left a message on your for sale thread re the the ruby bbos.
Jenny I am interested in medium WNNNs. Large would be waaaaaayyyy too big for my skinny DD so if you haven't sold it to someone else can you consider me please?
Wow - that does sound good about the UD ones! I have 5 preloved UDNNs on their way from various people! (1 small, 2 mediums and 2 large!). I am going to gradually get rid of my WNNNs and use the money for UDNNs. I was going to order them brand new but there has been quite a few come up preloved recently so have snapped them up when I can. Shame I have missed a few!
I know I mentioned earlier about the medium WNNN. Is anybody interested in some Large - £8 each posted? Or £10 for the Newest one which is finding Nemo. All have the trifold inserts and snap on boosters. Or would swap for BBH or UD.
jenny - the soy fitteds are similar to the night nappies, but no trifold. Instead they have a snap in insert like the additional night time one but twice as thick? Does that make sense? Amber is a star - each one has different coloured poppers - including the snap in insert, so I know which goes with which. One of the nappies has glow in the dark stars as poppers!
Meant to say...
BBH wraps...
BBH wraps as low as £3.49!
Baron - £4 delivered for the inserts? if thats ok my pp is sophie_grint@yahoo.co.uk and i can pop in the post tommorow or thursday depending on dp's bank account!
Yes Baronconker - I take paypal on the site. I think the pop n gro is a real winner.
Some of the bags requested are out of stock - will let you know this week and what the new stock/final lines will permanently (ish!)be. Its really difficult deciding which ones to choose. Hoping to follow up woth matching changing mats etc.

Need sleep!
Regarding making your own nappies, I would suggest registering with cloth nappy tree! They have a "DIY" nappy section and lots of people on there make their own nappies. I wouldn't have a clue myself!
Which tots bots are you using? The cotton ones?
4 - yes please to the preloved inserts. I have a chocolate and a strawberry now, and DS3 does toddler-type poos fairly often so I can just whip out the inserts and shove new ones in. How much, and I can pp you if you let me know your email address...
Octo - thank you v much for the spotty wrap. I've got two size 3s now, I thought my size 2 fleece one was too small as it seems to come up smaller than the PUL tots size 2 wraps, but the size 3 ones are massive! Should be good in a few months, though... Also, am going to buy some more (or at least one more, depending on how flush I'm feeling) Pop n Gros as I really like the one I've got. Do you take paypal on your website?
Also I was thinking about the feasibility (sp) of making some of my own nappies and using wraps I already have, has anyone successfully done this?
Hello ladies, have been on this thread before but not for a while. I used cloth for my first 2 children on and off, have just bought a load off tots bots for DD am pleased with them but they are very bulky atm (she is 5 months) does anyone have any other nappy suggestions? I have paypal funds too if anyone is selling.
Baron- I can do you a set of preloved large inserts if that is any good? Im going to order a new lime itti as the elastic has gone in both sides now, but the inserts are still good.
Baron-It's already gone sorry, i have parcelled it up ready to post, looks like i have sold all my flexitots too so another couple of parcels for dp to post for me!
Have had a wonderfull morning on the beach with dd2's preschool, dp was the coach driver so i could take dd3 & dd4 and we had a great time. Juts had to have a hot shower when i got back though as i went swimming fuly clothed but was freezing by the time i got home!
As you mentioned puddlekins - I was a tester for the new cloth san pro and they are so lovely! I prefer it to my other cloth san pro I think and they have improved since my tester was made. It is gorgeous and so soft.
Talia is unwell and hoping no swine flu! It is spreading fast localally though.
Regarding WNNN - I think if Talia didn't have boosting it would be fine but she is such a heavy wetter it is rediculous. You say you use micros at night? They last about an hour on Talia then they have leaked! Talia is short and chubby so sounds like they are different shapes anyway. Elouise is skinny - 9th percentile and large WNNN fit her perfectly.
I am going to be asking £10 for the WNNN - it is lovely.
... UNE014.jpg... UNE015.jpgThose are the pics from the lady who sold it to me. I will probably ask £11 if I advertise, or £10 for anybody on here. That includes postage but would like gifted paypal or fees covered

4andnotout Can I have the large itti inserts? I can email you my address. Thanks!
Thanks

Will add to order!
Octo do you think they will be getting any small pink boho bags in? I don't mind waiting but i'd love matching, perhaps i'll need a medium too

I'll be away until the 8th i think, but will pay as soon as i get back is that ok?
I'll resend it. Sent it this afternoon so it'll be floating around .....somewhere

try my normal email vicki.k.finn@googlemail.com aswell.
I think you just order through the puddlekins website. Now an ooga booga cover would be FAB!
Johnworf - no sign of email yet - will check tomorrow!
They are stunning!
Shame there isn't some pul under the ace fabric though, what a shame to cover them up!
Where does one buy leer over them?
Might have a selling fest on ebay, I want a bag!
octo I emailed you asking you about fabric designs/bags. Hope you can help me out

Can I just refer you addicts to puddlekins website - gorgeous! Love love love the ooga booga fabrics on those nappies.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/puddlekins/sets/72157620647509222/
I think I may need one ...

Have pink sparrows in stock

They are lovely!
White lava does look really nice.
And starling and sparrows

I heart lava flowers.
bag envy

lol!
http://monkeyfootdesigns.com/catalog.php?category=28
White lava, fly by day and sky wallflower

Which other ones do you like? They don't always have the ones shown though - I have a stocklist emailed to me with patterns on and then there are even more to choose from

I need to settle down and choose say 5 of the favourites and focus on them - pink boho in xl on way btw!!

Clem boho is nice too!
Has everyone got one but me?
<<stamps foot>>
Bah!
Oh what new patterns are you getting in, although i don't think anything will beat pink boho

Am off on hols next week - when get back - new patterns will be here

Am still working on site - never ending!
That is good Octo!
I have 4 of the microflece lollipop and I really like them

We use them as night nappies with a fleece wrap and they are only damp in the morning.
We use fleece and airflow wraps otherwise I'd be a bit tempted! Plus I dont
need anymore of course........
Your site is looking dapper btw, those bags are very very funky. Drool.
I am offering £120 sets to include 20 lollipop microfleece nappies, 6 tots covers and liners - bargain! Free delivery. Click through on classified advert or email me

Jenny - I might be in the business for the WNNN, although I'd value your expertise on the shape thing. DD is longish in body and slim, and 9th centile for weight, 50th for length. I don't know how that compares to Talia?
We need to start emailing all the nappy companies telling them to label all the bits of their nappies - with labels that don't fade in the wash too.
twoclimbing - so what exactly are they? I have been reading what it says on the UD site but I am a bit confused as to what they come with etc

. Do they look an different to the NN? Ie easy to tell them apart when washing etc? I might get coloured ones but not sure its worth the extra money!
I am going to be selling a lovely medium WNNN. Sad to see it go its really lovely, but just doesn't suit Talias shape.
Evening all

I have a brand new with tags large set of inserts for an itti if anyone wants them (it's the trifold and hourglass snap in), i was thinking £5 delivered as they are £5.75 plus post.
Got my yellow itti today, it is lovely

I need to make £9 to pay for some bbh's so had better start listing!
Hi jenny - I think the soy fitteds take the same length of time to dry as the NNs - the only real difference is no trifold.
twoclimbing - do the soy fitteds take long to dry? I don't know if I should get half mediums and half large so they both have some or just get the large and Talia can always grow into them. But TBH Talia is a heavy wetter - she wees just as much, if not more than ELouise now. I have to add both boosters in her BBH in the daytime! Don't know how people use them for 12 hours at night! They could both be in a BBH for the same length of time and Talia is often more wet than Elouise!
octo just about to email you now.
You've made my day. Gawd, how easy am I to please?

johnworf - the bumpy wool is here - email me your address info@nappywardrobe.co.uk and will pop in post.
Elouise is still in bed - 11am! Lol.
I want to get some soy fitteds. Probably 2 each for the girls which will come to £40 on its own! Then maybe another wrap each (although a bit wary of this as I haven't got my first ones yet to know what they are like. might order fleece as I know these are good).
Getting quite behind with all my washing with all this rain

. My nappies have finished washing in the machine but I have nowhere to hang them

Wow Jenny! How will you decided what to get? I can't even decide and it's only fantasy shopping!
Sweet potato stain here, on an itti. Its out on the line in the sun, fingers crossed!
I have just sold my nintendo DS for £50 so can order some more UD nappies

. Have a few preloved ones on the way but want to order some new ones too. Hoping to sell some pockets tomorrow
I am going to dye my UDNNs too! Will wait till the ones I have already bought come through. Thinking about trying tie dye!
Think Elousie has stained some of her BBHs with blueberries in her poo

.
Hoping to sell some more nappies this week, including the rest of my pockets, so I can spend more than £75 at UD and then get the bulk buy discounts.
no not cc struggling to remember where I got them
yes brnd new
Did you buy them brand new? I find nature babies very reliable and I haven't had any problems with them at all. I have some Newborn/Smalls for sale but only because Talia is too big for them now!
ive never had those wraps, but im sure they're faulty, and/or not fit for the prupose they were made for , so you should get your money back.... hope you payed by credit card, thats like a receipt.
Can I ask has anyone had trouble with nature babies wraps? I have a few 4 of which have lost nearly all their PUL after only a few uses.
What is their customer service like? they were got from allover and I don't have receipt but I'm sure they shouldn't give way so easily
thanks
I had some berry plush for dd3 and i found them very reliable too

Im going to only use my wnos, udos & bbos this week so that i can box up all of my itti's ready for france on saturday. Might buy a pack of sposies to use from thurs until we get to france and set up, so that i on't have a car of dirty nappies.
I bought some coco butter soap pieces for my wipes but the smell made me feel quite sick

will have to try another brand

i lurve berry plush nappies because they're great for skinny dd and i can use them as nappies with pop ins or as wraps without, so i can make her staple totsbots cottons look almost as good as her blueberries

... never had leaks with them either

I have just bought a SMALL UDNN for Talia! Preloved so should be here this week! Can't wait - think it will be fab! Can't imagin them in small! Has embordery too!

thanks twoclimbingboys , will investigate!

jenny - it arrived safely, thanks. I haven't managed to test its absorbency yet - he pooped in it at as soon as I put it on him!
natty - he looks really long and so cute. I love the name Charlie.
drlove8 - 2 large berryplush have just been listed on cnt - they look lovely, fc you manage to get them!
Love the pic TheNatty. Bless him! Awww. Hormones. Everywhere.
All good here. Someone was asking about magic alls - I have one. Lovely but takes a while to dry on the line. Very very soft though.
Agree itti's tiny - dd has builders bum in mediums now, though a small will fit her waist size wise. WIsh they were a bit higher in the rise, but still loving the fluff. SHame I only have 3! Other is being sent to suppliers as it went wibbly in the wash - so we will see what they make of it. GreenBaby are sending it as they haven't had any complaints before. Typically I had to be the first!
Anybody use bumgenious fitteds? Bamboo ones?
had a giggle to myself the other day, got a nappy out from Mimi's new tots bots and it was made booster on the front

Shop replaced

Agree ittis look small, think mimi would need a large but happily fits size 2 tots bots.

NATTY - he's gorgeous! well done you've made a craker there

... the nappy looks very cute!, i think Charlie suits him

Anybody tried bamboo flexitot? Are they onesize fitteds? WOrth £5 for a nearly new one?
My dd4 is still a tiny 15lbs at 8 months and wears a medium with the tabs touching in the middle, i tried her in a large but although it fitted she had wee leaks from the leg holes.
OMG I have the feeling my medium itti isn't going to last very long. I went off the sizes/weights they show on their website and bought the medium on the back of them. If your DD is 21lbs and in a large then this might only last until the end of the month!

DD3 is about the same size and in large ittis and the tabs meet in the middle, she is 21 mo and about 22lbs

Anybody know the sizing of a large itti? I know they come up small but just wondering if they will fit Elouise? I bought one last night as I saw a bargain and thought I would try her with one. She is 18months and only 22lb (9th percentile). But somehow she only just about fits into BBH onesize.
GOt some really pretty wraps on the way which I am looking forward to! All WN or UD really.
CUTE

Really lovely

Tree - yes business is good - more on the waterproof bags side which is my focus at the moment - but also very busy with my advising side and nappy network stuff. Have so many things going on need to sit down and focus on one of them!!!
My bedroom has been redecorated this week and have got new furniture - house is in total chaos with stuff everywhere but slowly getting back to normal as stuff gets put back into the room.
Am off to devon for a party tonight - octo will become childfree Octowildpartyanimal

(pass out at 10pm and get full nights sleep lol)
Have a fluffy weekend!
first nappyhey guys! skinny bum is in newborn wraps and various pocket inserts for now lol, when his cord comes off i will switch to pockets, atm they would cover his bellybutton and midwife said the damp could effect healing.
we have almost decided to call him charlie lol

Twoclimbingboys - Did you get the Clwt twt ok? Would be interested to know what you think of it? I am thinking about trying them at night for Talia as even though she is a heavy wetter - they are the only nappy that isn't soaked after 3-4 hours. She has got a few WNNN but I am not over keen on them and I think the UDNNs will be too big for a while

.
Have just bought a medium UDNN preloved from CNT. There were 2 but I was about 2 mins too late for the second one!
I am hoping to swap my WNNNs for more UDNNs if anybody is interested?
Evening all

Got some really cute fleece wipes from ebay today, i only paid for them yesterday morning!
Other than that no fluffy post today

Got to post a flexitot tommorow, will have to take some piccies of them and list them properly.
My small BBH minkee magic all is the exactly the same size as a large Itti bitti!? It must be a really high rise nappy.Anybody got one? Have got 2 new blueberrys too for £18 each blue spots on chocolate & blue camo.I am minky/ee mad.
YES! I have and I had forgotten. Will dig them out for the next change. I have the ones with silver in too. Doh!
Cheers mi dear!
tree do you have any silk linners? theyre fab for healing sore bots! poor wee dd!
Hi all
We have big bad nappy rash here

. Its almost blistered. Have put loads of egg white on and the supersoft pop'n'grow insert in her nappy as she is out for the count. It's real skin burn - from a poo that went unnoticed. Poor little woman.
Hows business Octo? Hope its good

I had a dream I set up a baby weaning food company - sending out puree and mush. Sweet potato mush on the brain as weaning has begun!
bambinex nappy soak/wash is down to £0.89 in boots ! - its fab for soaking food stains out too.!

, i use it now and again when the nappies get a bit wiffy....

oooh thats nice! get it!
jenny: £19 seems a lot for a preloved bedbug. Is it nearly new, or fancy embroidery? I think they're more likely to go for around £15-16. I saw one the other day on ClothTots for like £12.50, but I think it was fairly well used. I've paid anywhere from £10 to £15 for mine. But of course, they can be hard to come by.
Thinking about a preloved bedbug for £19 - do you know if it is worth it? Never had one before?
drlove - yes swim nappies are just a poo catcher. Quite gross when you come to think of how much wee is in swimming pools

. DD1 loves swimming and is always in for at least an hour - she must wee at least once in this time!
I am selling a fushia berryplush but it is small I am afraid! Sorry!
Is usednappies easy to sell on? I NEED to clear my size 1s that we are not using now but don't want them to go for peanuts! And havent really got time to sit and spend hours listing?
also got a motherease swim nappy in red! it looks tiny!

- but should fit as there is no padding to it. am i right in thinking its just really a poo catcher?

fluffy post today! dd4's birthday in a few weeks - so i treated her to some
new bbss! spotty ones! pink and lilac and a chocolate and lime!.... i think she must be the oldest dc in cloth! she will be 4!

(she's sn though , so can be excused lol)
Re the Itti's, I read that they are low rise nappies so I shouldn't really be expecting them to cover her tum like the others I have.
Scotia totally agree they are show off nappies

I love my lime green one and did plan to get a nice girly pink one. I think I'll go for the large next time though!
I agree about the sizing of ittis. I've bought larges for ds and he's only 5 months old and less than 18lbs. He does have wee chubby legs though so they're not leaking on him and they should last him a good while. They are gorgeous though - real 'showing off' nappies

I've been using them as shorts in this hot weather. I wouldn't be able to use one overnight on ds though.
I'm waiting for a couple of wnos nappies coming, I think I'm turning into a nappy addict, lol!
Many thanks
octo. Think you are right about the Itti's. I only bought one just to try. I mean they feel lush on the outside and she wore it last night to bed and it's kept all of the wee in but....like you say, they are a tad on the expensive side. I'm used to the bog standard ME BTP and the Imse Vimse organic terry with a wrap.

Btw I had a look at your website the other day. I was looking for some shorties. Haven't made my mind up to commit yet though!
Will check whether bumpy is actually here or out in a hire kit - happy for you to borrow it. Busy weekend - will be back soon - my email address is info@nappywardrobe.co.uk.
Bumpy is lanolised - no need to do it everytime or wash it either - just leave it to air.
Ittis are tiny - but very cute! I don't sell them at all due to price and sizing. My customers tend to want better value for money and a leg gusset.
johnworf - ittis are tiny, aren't they? I got my first one a couple of weeks ago and was shocked when I opened it, thought they'd sent me the wrong size! I do love it, but DS3 is 15 months and quite a chunk, so I can't see it fitting him for very long. Should have bought it months ago!
what a pain drlove8!
johnworf - i think ittis are tiny sizing. Blake is 13 months (although he is 26lbs and over the 98th centile for length) I had to sell all of his large ittis a while back as they gave him awful builder's bum and he had very regular poop leaks out of the leg in them.
twoclimbing , have just been there

it only small sizes that are up for sale .... bummer as theres some in fushia.... and that is so dd4's colour . boo hoo !
thanks
octo That's a very kind offer. Are you ok to spare it?
Are bumpy's easy to look after or do they need lanolising for time to time? Not sure on the care instructions of these wraps at all! Also, are they ok for daytime use? I've read that wool wraps can start wicking if they're worn in the daytime?
I've had the nature babies PUL wraps which were ok I guess. One of the first wraps I tried. Never bought the 2nd size though. I have 3 (maybe 4) in the first size if anyone wants them for free. Can't be bothered putting them on usednappies.co.uk
octo let me know if you want my email addy

Bumpy wool wraps are great - have a medium here you can borrow to try out if you like - nature babies have never really impressed me that much tbh.
Thanks for the info
jenny. Glad I only bought 1 to try. Weird really as I read the size guide and she's well within the weight range stated. She's wearing it for bed tonight so I'll see how it's gone on in the morning

Anyone know anything about the Nature Babies multifit wrap or Imse Vimse wool bumpy? General performance, how they wash etc.
ta.

i think I occasionally see pre-loved berryplush for sale on clothnappytree - you could post a wanted there?
does anyone know whats happened to the berryplush nappies? i cant buy any anywhere and its driving me nuts.... was so wanting a fushia and a red one, had to order some blueberry's instead, but berryplush are a better fit on my dd4 and im so

.... anyone selling any in large?
Have solved Connors wet back/dry nappy problem. His willy pointing up! Wee was going straight up out back of nappy, He's my third boy can't believe I didn't realise.

Got a BBH minkee magic all AIO today in liqorice. It looks dark grey in picture but surprised to find it's jet black but I love it.Never had a black nappy though worried about washing it. I'll let you know if it's as good as the itti's, definately as pretty.

Thanks Tree - will pass on comments.

Hello tree!
Who was that just then?
Hi all
Hope I'm not forgotten, and hello to all those I don't know.
Octo - the pop'n'gro is going well. I love how soft it is. DD2 is quite small though, 9th centile and 6 months today so only 13 ish lbs, and I find it is loose on the legs and bulky due to the type of filling iyswim? That said - I think she will suit it beter as she grows. Am loving that big fluffy insert, soooo soft on a sore bot.
Huge congratulations Natty!

john - itti bittis do come up small. Talia is in mediums and she is only 10 weeks.
As for swaps I have fitteds, BG pockets, loads of different inserts, bit of everything really. Are you looking for anything in particular?
baronconker you know that those weight charts are made for formula fed babies don't you? There is another (although if you find it, well done!) for BF babies. It is widely recognised that BF babies are not as heavy as their formula fed counterparts. You need to remind your HV of this - who should know better.

K started on 25th centile and has slid to between 25th and 9th but I'm really not bothered. She troughs her food but is more active now so I put it down to that.
My Itti Bitti came today and I'm thrilled. However, I ordered the medium and for some reason I thought it'd be bigger. I do hope it fits her. Off to check weights on itti bitti website

My DS2 is petite compared to his brothers - I didn't really notice until his 8 month check when he was well below the 25th centile (having started out on 50th) and HV was all sniffy about the fact that I was still breastfeeding. He really doesn't eat much and is very slim (he's on 9th centile now), and I worried about it for a while but now I just try my hardest to offer him lots of snacks and to encourage him to be enthusiastic about food by letting him help me cook, doing carpet picnics etc. All my family make jokes about how he looks like a famine victim when he's got no clothes on - he's 3 and a half now - and I get so cross! I think he's perfect, he's just different to my side of the family, we're all Scottish and sturdy-looking (which is what my other two sons are like), but DS2 is like my husband's side who are all boney! DH's family never comment on his weight, he looks quite normal to them, and they're amazed by DS1 and 3's chunky muscles and huge appetites!!!
My dd2 is 4 yet only now starting to wear age 3-4 clothes, dd's 2,3&4 are all going to be petite, dd1 is really tall but her bio dad was 6'3.
I have ordered my yellow itti so now have the completed collection in medium and large, dd3 had better not potty train for a few months now

Glad I'm not on my own about not getting K weighed on regular basis. I think mine is because she was weighed so much being a premmie. Now that she's older I don't bother unless it's a hospital visit and she
has to be weighed. I can't stand the chin scratching afterwards as she's a petite child. No concerns here and she eats well but obviously she isn't fat enough for their liking!

Anyway, we don't have to go to clinic for anything now that she's had her MMR that's pretty much it until she's 3. Hurrah!

BaronConker - have just realised have not posted your wrap - in post today first class - sorry! Manic week here!
Jenny - certainly open to swaps. DS3 is in large everything though, so I don't know what you've got: is it all listed in For Sale? I'll have a look.
I've never taken DS3 to baby clinic - or DS2 for that matter! Only ever had them weighed on the occassions that the HV came here. Seemed so pointless if you can see that they're gaining weight and if they're satisfied after a feed...
I took dd4 to clinic when she was 8mo and that was the first time she had been weighed since she was 6 weeks old

As long as i can see her thriving i don't worry about it

Rachel - I think I have most patterns of the ME in M/L. Talia has never been to baby clinic either. She was weighed at about 2 weeks old and then again yesterday at 10 weeks old!

. HV wasn't very happy and she came here to weigh her. I think it was a visit as she was "concerned" that we hadn't been. I got the impresssion she had the idea in her head I had PND or something. Nice of her to care but I couldn't be happier.

Glad I am not the only one not going to baby clinic. It would be such hard work to take Elouise as well as she wouldn't sit in the buggy the hole time and would run out the building if I let her out! And if I am going to get a babysitter then TBH I have much more important things to do with that precious time! If she wasn't gaining weight then that is different - but I can see her getting chubbier by the week so there is no point.
I got an email from somebody yesterday, about the lollipop and prefolds asking if I got her previous message (I hadn't) but I replied straight away and haven't heard back yet. I know some people dont check their emails every day though.
hi i've just joined mumsnet and what to know how i can put my 11months old to sleep as he sleep as late as 1/2am with 1-2 hrs sleep in the day at alternate times. Any tips please.
Thanks
jenny £9 posted

jenny: what patterns are your ME wraps? And yes, I found WN wraps a lot more snug compared to ME wraps! I've not taken Clement to HV to be weighed since his 6 week check

and he'll be 13 weeks on Saturday! OOps! lol But I
know he's a chunky monkey and doing all sorts of active/clever things physically, so don't really see any need for HV!

As for weight though, he's not been weighed since he was admitted to hospital for the UTI at 9 weeks old, when he was around 13lb 9oz. But I'm sure he's grown a fair bit since then!

Btw, did you get an email from my friend about the Lollipop nappies? I think she emailed you last Saturday.
Rachel - meant to say. I have never had a large ME but ELouise still fits into the M/L at 18months (22lb). I think I have some spare M/L if you wanted any? £3.50 posted in VGUC?
And

How much does Clement weigh?! I thought Talia was chunky but she still has plenty of room in the small ME on the smallest setting! Lol. She is 12lbs now. She does wear medium WN but she has stacks of room in them. They are too big really but don't leak so I am not complaining. I think they are smaller than ME though TBH.
Rachel - I don't think they do have a cheaper alternative. I was actually tempted to get a fitted today when I did an order but when I added what I wanted it worked out a bit too expensive really. The coloured soy is even more expensive

. Think I will dye the ones I have got and see how that turns out.
I have just ordered the girls some minki wraps though.
here I ordered Rasberry ripple for Elouise and Rasberry slush for Talia (medium so might be a bit big - but her Medium WN wraps fit so might be OK). Quite excited about those!
Elle - I was looking for your for sale thread the other day for the red one and couldn't find it so assumed it had sold! I have just spent all my paypal on the UD order but I have tonnes of stuff I am selling so maybe in the next few days I will have enough? How much were you asking for again?
Barronconker - don't suppose you would be open to a swap at all? As above - I have just blown my paypal! Have got loads to sell though!
jenny: Yes, I've just seen they have coloured soy! Very tempting - we love orange nappies!

LOL Do you have any yet? Btw, did they ever come out with a cheaper fitted nappy, or is that the one at 8.25, plus all the added fees for sizes etc?
natty - huge congrats!!!!!!
johnworf - the nappies are from Upsy Daisy and they do a huge range of girly minkees and fleece. The woollies are soaring sheep and she has a selection of girly yarn.
jenny - all of the minkee wraps on my
photobucket are Upsy Daisy minkee wraps - the beach scene, hot air balloon and citrus slush minkee. They are fab!
jenny I have a size large pink tie dye Nature Babies wrap, poppered. It was a present and I have only used it a few times as I have three boys! Not sure why my friend bought me pink...
Anyway, it's yours for £4 posted if you're interested...
jenny they were £12 each. I got Tanzanite and Ruby

I also ordered one of the new design Fuzzi bunz. Postage was £3.00 for the 3 items.
Only had 1 Fuzzi Bunz when K was very tiny and just came out of hospital so be interesting to see how we get on with it.
sorry it is in very good condition

jenny i still have the red itti it is in good condition.
Oh and I am just about to put a large UD minki pocket up for sale - its lovely but we just don't use pockets and want to raise funds for some pretty wraps. Does anybody know how much I should ask for it? It is in GUC/EUC I think.
John - Can I ask how much they are? I am thinking about getting Talia some more mediums.
There are some cheap smalls on the for sale board if anybody is interested? I did think about getting them for Talia but the medium we have fits fine so the smalls wouldn't last long - if at all.
Is anybody selling any mediums ittis? Or pink wraps in med or large?
Anybody have any experience of UD Pul/Minky wraps? I was going to order 2 WN ones but saw that UD are cheaper and have colours that I prefer (I am mainly wanting some to match dresses!). I have a fleece UD and love it so hoping they would be as good?
My UDNN came today my first popper ones - the rest are applix. It looks different to my others - does anybody know if they have changed them?
OH and if you didn't know - UD have just introduced coloured soy!
