yes. Have been a patchy follower of his more recent stuff, but always was a big, big fan. The Bible used to make me cry -but then I was an over-romantic student!

I did see him once at Festival Hall supporting Jane Siberry and loved him but I'm a sucker for a good acoustic song

I had a single he did after The Bible with Darden/Durden Somethingorother. That was pretty good. I thought he was more of a writer/producer these days... will have to investigate.

In other '80's folky hasbeen comeback news this month Martin Stephenson and the Daintees return.

OH ! I loved Martin Stephenson - my lodger introduced the Daintees to me back in early 90s !!

If you ever get the chance, go to see MS live. He's hilarious, stops songs halfway through to chat about random things, but then pulls out a killer song seriously and breaks your heart.

His Myspace suggests he's probably playing your living room sometime next year!

Yes I caught Boo by accident when I went to see Chris Difford and he was supporting. He was fab. We bought his album and we still play it all the time, 4 or 5 years later.

I've just listened to some old Martin Stephenson on iTunes - took me right back to my old house...
I think dh has ordered the new Boo cd for me - hooray !
