Ok, I have to admit that although I like the Boss, I was never a massive fan. My dad treated himself to tickets for his 60th this year (he has loved him since the early 1980s!!) and as my mum can't stand Bruce, dad took me.

So glad he did. Was honestly the best live gig I have ever seen.

Was anyone else at the Ricoh Arena last night? I keep thinking about it. Bloody hell, he was fantastic. So was the e street band. Amazing musicians. I'm a convert.

I saw him at Villa Park in 1985. Has to be one of the best concerts I've ever been to - he's one of those "made for stadiums / arena/" type artists.
Am jealous of you Smile

I saw The Boss a few yrs ago and it was such a feel good concert. I loved it.

Part of it was that no-one was pushing to get to the front. It was a really chilled out crowd and so the atmosphere was just party-like. I'd definitely go and see him again. Smile

were they pushing to get to the back? Grin

Bruce is indeed a God Smile

I was at Coventry too - third row from the front which involved a lot of queuing and waiting around but was sooo worth it. Also went to the Wembley show which was really intense and emotional. Also going to Cardiff. Wasn't going to go to HRC but when Bruce said at Wembley "Back in two weeks" it seemed rude not to ......

And if anyone wonders why go to more than one show ... Over the last three shows I've bben to, they played a total of 90 songs and 60 of those songs were different! Phenomenal.

Never mind youtubing him. You need to google that picture. The pube picture.

I'd do him. Even though is called Bruce.

I've loved Bruce since the 80s - but have never seen him live. Am very jealous.

And if you think he's hot now, here he is young

Hmm wonder if I can get that 'shirtless when young' picture printed onto a vest before the concert.

I saw him last year at HRC (infamous plug-pulling gig) and again at Wembley last week. Frak me, what a show that man puts on, and the energy! He's 20+ years older than me and puts me to shame! I was never really into him before I met DH who is a mahoosive fan, but I can't get enough of him now. And that young phwoar shot of him is bookmarked on my browser Blush Grin

crazy it's now my screensaver.
Same as you, wasn't huge fan until I met DH.
DH was at HRC last year and I bought tix for this year as his Xmas present, we can't get childcare now so he has given his tix to my friend so we can go.....MAJOR brownie points for DH :)

My dad and sister went to see him last year. I was heavily pregnant and couldn't go. They said he was utterly brilliant (my dad has seen him many times since the 70s!) and his stamina is amazing. And he is still HOT.

I saw him in 1985 at Slane Castle and last week took 7yr old DS to see him at Wembley - that boy has seriously good taste in music :0

Still fabulous, still hot, still rocking, and I still would!

I agree with Kitten that Wembley was emotional, thought it might just have been me but was Bruce in tears at the end of the Clarence tribute - I certainly was? Both DS and I are jealous that you have been more than once this tour, we are plotting the next time already.

Saw him at Leeds Arena last Wednesday.

Completely brilliant and looked hotter in a wet t-shirt than any 63 year old has a right to.

Great venue too.

KittenofDoom · 01/08/2013 14:29

I thought we had squeezed every last drop out of him at Cardiff Grin and left nothing but a dried out limp rag for Leeds, but never underestimate Bruce.

(ninah went quiet, didn't she?) :)
