20 years ago , that would have been my idea of heaven !! >>happy memories>> have fun !

I saw this the other day but haven't checked out dates yet. I used to love Miles Hunt and saw them a couple of times back in the day. Off to Google it now!

Fanjango Wed 30-Jan-13 17:58:06

Oh WOW!! I loved the Wonderstuff. So jealous !

myalias Wed 30-Jan-13 18:03:27

I remember seeing both these bands back in the 90's had a huge crush on Clint.

Wow chuck in Neds Atomic Dustbin and it's practically a festival!!! Does miles hunt still have his lovely hair? Probably not.

Hang on am I reading it right? Jesus Jones as well?!

ChippyMinton Wed 30-Jan-13 18:17:14

Miles Hunt. What a grump. But fab. recently I secretly loaded the Stuffies onto DS1's ipod in a bid to educate him.

ChippyMinton Wed 30-Jan-13 18:17:59

Curly locks are long gone sad

cece Wed 30-Jan-13 18:20:38

Where do you get tickets? My DH would love to see this!

GoldenGreen Wed 30-Jan-13 18:24:54

Miles Hunt is playing a small gig in Leeds on Friday - getting very excited!

ChippyMinton Wed 30-Jan-13 18:28:24

Nice name wink

GoldenGreen Wed 30-Jan-13 18:37:31

Why thank you Chippy grin

MegGriffin Wed 30-Jan-13 20:19:00

Yes Jesus Jones as well.
I saw Wonderstuff and Levellers are Brixton academy year before last and that was amazing, still as brilliant as they were back in the day.
Would love to see Neds again.

GoldenGreen Fri 01-Feb-13 23:24:51

Just back from seeing Miles and Erica tonight and it was fantastic. And the curly locks are back in all their glory!

wonderstuff Fri 01-Feb-13 23:28:37

Goes off to find tickets..
Saw wonder stuff at guilfest a few years ago, once I got over initial disappointment at lack of hair they were fab.

RedBerryJoyTown Fri 01-Feb-13 23:33:42

Ooh....saw them in Brighton about 20 years ago, happy times! Loved them at Camp Bestival, best band of the whole weekend.

MegGriffin Sat 02-Feb-13 09:14:51

I may be 43 now but I will be jumping along with the best of them like in the old days. Keeps me feeling young smile

MegGriffin Sat 02-Feb-13 09:16:05

Hope they play Red berry joy town!

MegGriffin Sat 02-Feb-13 09:19:40

And Golden green. Thing is their set is always good so it will never be disappointing and there are so many songs.
I saw on you tube they have covered 'planet earth' with a rather fun video!

hermioneweasley Sat 02-Feb-13 09:25:42

I have seen TWS and miles Hunt at many gigs over the years - they are always great. I have been listening to the same music for 20 years.

MegGriffin Sat 02-Feb-13 10:06:02

Same here hermoine. Bit of a conversation stopper when people ask me who I like and they then look at me blankly when I say.
Luckily my friend also loves the same music so we go to the gigs together.

MegGriffin Sat 02-Feb-13 10:07:48

Or even worse say 'didn't they do size of a cow?' which is probably my least favourite song they did.

hermioneweasley Sat 02-Feb-13 10:10:19

Ah,I have heard Miles saying how "size of a cow" divides the audience. Personally, I like it (but I'm not very discerning). What are your favourites Meg?
