Ooh me please!

Eek I filled in the survey but then I saw on the following screen it say click to finish the survey or something but I accidentally closed the window instead, do I need to complete it again or will it have saved anyway? sad I'd love to try this on my scars from bowel surgery as bio oil hasn't made a jot of difference!

BeQuicksieorBeDead Thu 01-Aug-13 18:17:43

Yes please - stretch marks are becoming my main skin type!

Done, i'd love to try this, I love Palmers products.

I've done this. I have dry skin, and roseacea on the face, and this products sounds like it's not packed full of harsh chemicals, so might make a difference.

Forgetfulmog Thu 01-Aug-13 21:15:24

Oooh yes please! I'd love, love, love to be picked! Please, please pick me smile

There's Gin in it if you do....

claireindevon Thu 01-Aug-13 21:19:38

Sounds lovely and got to be worth a try!

I would love to do this. I have tried loads of products to help loose the stretch marks on my tummy after having DD <gives bio-oil the stink eye>

On a completely unrelated note, I have just perfected a recipe for gin truffles, I am looking for MNHQ type people to trial them for me.

<glen wanders out of thread whistling innocently>

It does sound lovely!

mignonette Fri 02-Aug-13 12:26:19

I'm from a generation that had rosehip syrup for their children. I use it as an ice cream flavouring, in cocktails and think it'd be great on the skin.

mignonette Fri 02-Aug-13 12:26:44

Good Yes it does.

BamBam21 Fri 02-Aug-13 13:14:19

Done. I would love to try this. After two children and too many cakes, my tummy is like spaghetti junction! I have them on my boobs too. I really want to try it on the scar I have on my knee though, which has never shifted in over 25 years - I fell off a fence and cut it open, and you could see the bone.<vom> The doctor used metal clips to stitch it, and even after all this time you can actually see the wee dots where the stitches went in along each side of the scar, which still looks quite angry and tingles a lot. I would be so happy if a product could fade that away a bit. xx

KatieBMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 02-Aug-13 15:24:25

I'm enjoying this stuff so far used it last night and this morning and love the smell and it sinks on really well

littlemonkeychops Tue 13-Aug-13 13:28:20

Oooo i've had a surprise bottle in the post (didn't get an e-mail either). Needed a little pick-me-up, looking forward to trying it :-)

honey86 Tue 13-Aug-13 21:47:24

i noticed it says rosehip fragrance- so has it actually got rosehip in it or is that just the smell?

absorbs really well though, im having a growth spurt and my bumps suddenly getting big and my skin feels all stretched n tight- so im curious as to whether it helps, ive been using it 2-3 times a day. ive been using it on a couple scars i have too to see if it does anything, although they are couple years old now so im skeptical bout that.

Bluecarrot Wed 14-Aug-13 21:51:59

I noticed that too honey It says Rosa Canina Seed Extract on the ingredients so I googled it and found this rg-cell.com/rosa-canina-seed-extract/

Im not sure how much is in the Palmers stuff though!

Yes it says rosehip fragrance but not sure how much it contains , smells gorgeous though

honey86 Wed 14-Aug-13 22:47:22

it must be a measurable amount surely, as notice the bit it says about its absorption... drinking in oil already in pores.... and this absorbs really well so i wonder if its the active ingredient. does have a nice smell...
i like that it doesnt stay oily for long, like bio oil. oil that stays on my skin for too long makes me itch abit and feels icky x

It is very like Bio oil in texture now you come to mention it but smells much less granny

honey86 Sun 18-Aug-13 11:18:38

i think that although you can use it on dry skin, id advise against using it on eczema... i have dry eczema on the top of my bump and i put a little bit on-out of curiosity- it helped the dry skin but aggravated the itching... i suspect this is to do with the perfume in it xwink

JustOneMoreGlass Tue 10-Sep-13 17:41:47

Absorbs lovely and loving the fragrance. Left my skin really smooth! smile
