We've been asked by the makers of Metanium Nappy Rash Ointment to find 200 Mumsnetters to try out their new Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment. Here's what they say about the product: "New Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment has a unique double action formula to help guard against nappy rash. It helps seal in the skin?s natural moisture keeping the skin soft, smooth and supple. Metanium Everyday contains no fragrance or lanolin, so is gentle enough to use at each nappy change."

Here are the ingredients in Metanium Everyday:

Titanium dioxide

White soft paraffin

Light liquid paraffin

Dimeticone

This product test is open to all UK MNers with at least one child who wears nappies day and night - please click here to sign up.

If you are selected to take part, you will be sent a tube of Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment. We'll then give you a week or so to try the product before we ask you to add your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet. You may have seen or taken part in a similar product test we did for Metanium last year - whether or not you took part in this one, you're welcome to take part now!

Everyone who takes part and adds their feedback to the thread on Mumsnet will receive a free Busy Baby Wall Planners (RRP £9.99) and will also be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £100 Office voucher and another winner will receive a £100 Debenhams voucher. Please note that your comments may be used (anonymously) by the makers of Metanium in marketing/advertising materials e.g. on their website/Facebook page and possibly elsewhere.

Thanks very much

Done but no option for more than one child in nappies.

I have a newborn plus an 8 year old with SEN both in nappies.

Have filled it in for the newborn but if selected would test on both children.

SpawnOfObOb Sat 28-Apr-12 09:52:41

Has anyone else received their Metanium?

2ombie5layer Sat 28-Apr-12 09:54:15

I have. Will there be a seperate thread for reviews. Ive not done one before.

It came just as DH was changing DD2's nappy. I asked him what it was like and his response was "fine" no elaboration or anything. I'll give a better review on the proper thread.

babloogirl Sat 28-Apr-12 11:00:44

Did you receive an email telling you that you were selected for the product test? I haven't received one sad

SpawnOfObOb Sat 28-Apr-12 11:03:12

Yes on Wednesday the 25th.

violetwellies Sat 28-Apr-12 11:09:18

Have metanium, bit thicker than I expected, goes on well. Let's see if it works smile

ilovesprouts Sat 28-Apr-12 14:42:27

i guess im not in this time ....... but got my tesco powder to test ;)

You mean I've missed out again? Wtf am I doing wrong that I can't get selected for the 100000 people to test Tesco stuff and Metanium test open to all Mnetters?

Tee2072 Sat 28-Apr-12 15:01:58

I got mine today. Already used once, waiting for feedback thread...

MyDogShitsShoes Sat 28-Apr-12 15:11:03

Got it on Friday, impressed with how quickly it came tbh.

Smells nice.
