We have been asked by the team at Morphy Richards to find 15 MNers to test the Redefine Atomist Vapour Iron. We’re looking for MNers who have an interest in technology and gadgets. Here is a link to the product www.morphyrichards.co.uk/redefine/atomist/

Here is what Morphy Richards say about the iron: “The Atomist Vapour Iron is completely unique to the market as it uses vapour mist rather than steam, which means that it doesn’t need water to generate heat. As no water is heated or boiled, there is absolutely no build-up of limescale, meaning that it’s completely hassle free to clean. This also means that a fine mist can be sprayed onto garments, which is absorbed by the fibres, guaranteeing that creases can be ironed out quickly and effectively.”

If you are selected, we want you to share your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet about how you found the iron compared to the usual one you use. We’d also like you to share photos of garments before and after you’ve used the iron, and also photos of you using the iron. In addition to this, we’d like you to write a review in the Mumsnet household appliances review section. Finally, we’d like you to write a review on the Morphy Richards website. Please only sign up to do this product test if you’re happy to do all of these things.

As long as you give feedback as required, you will be able to keep the iron, worth £250.

If you’d like to take part, please add your details here and we will be in touch with those selected soon.

Thanks and good luck!

I would love to try this but is anyone else as baffled as I am about the statement on water temperature?

My fancy kettle does temperatures for different things like tea and coffee, I'm just not sure why an iron would need to - am I missing something?

I'd still love to try! I'm an ironer of everything even tea towels and pants.

I love gadgets and technology. Does an iron really come under "gadgets & technology" these days Confused

I would actually WANT to iron if I had this rather than having to need to iron!

I detest ironing so anything to make my life easier would be appreciated. DD only irons her army cadet uniform and makes such a song and dance about it, this may just save my sanity.

I'd love too, I'm fed up of limescale ruining irons and the steam rusting my ironing boards!
