In September, the team at Pampers will be launching brand New Baby-Dry Pants! They’re looking for 500 MNers & their LOs to be some of the first in the country to try them & provide feedback on Mumsnet and //Pampers.co.uk.

Here is what they’ve got to say: ‘Helping a baby to learn and grow without interruption is important for their happy, healthy development. Parents know there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing their baby happily and uninterruptedly playing – it’s what they do best! Whether asleep or awake, a baby is always learning and growing, but, when they are distracted by the irritation of wetness or the disruption of a nappy change, this interrupts their experience. Nowadays pants are not just for toilet training - in fact more and more parents are telling us they prefer the pants format for everyday use because they are easy to pull on and to quickly change when their baby is happily wriggling and moving about. Our new Pampers Baby-Dry Pants are perfect for playtime, nighttime, anytime! Pampers Baby-Dry Pants have Micro Pearls™ which absorb up to 30 times their weight and lock wetness away for up to 12 hours of dryness. They also feature an All-Around Stretch waistband that adapts to all of your baby’s movements and they’re soft and breathable so your baby will stay dry and happy.’

This is open to all UK MNers who have a child who currently wears one of the below sizes:
Size 4: 7 - 18 kg / 15 - 40 lbs
Size 5: 11 - 25 kg / 24 - 55 lbs
Size 6: 15+ kg/33+ lbs

Selected testers will receive a free carry pack of New Pampers Baby-Dry Pants in their chosen size.

Testers will need to be available to test their pack of Baby-Dry Pants starting in September, so please only apply if you're available at that time.

Everyone who takes part and shares their feedback on to a thread on Mumsnet and fills in a short survey will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £200 John Lewis voucher. We’ll also be sending you a link to //Pampers.co.uk, where you can tell Pampers what you thought about the product.

Please sign up here if you'd like to take part.

Thanks,
MNHQ

Pampers link is broken....

Agree with Snozzberry - what makes these different to easy ups?

(ps. God I love mumsnet - ridiculous nicknames make all subjects much more amusing when chatting)

Hopefully get picked we stopped using pampers when the tabs kept tearing off, would be interested to see if they've improved.

I'd really ike to do this but in light of recent MN security issues I'm really reluctant to put my details inc address etc into any form linked to from the MN website, mainly because of the link between my nickname and email address, any reassurance MNHQ?

Hi Fluffy24 - we completely understand your concerns, please rest assured that this link is legitimate, and we usually use SurveyMonkey to collect product test details. All of these details are kept in a different system to the main MN system, and none of this information is stored on-site - all systems and spreadsheets are password protected.

If you have any other questions, please do get in touch with the Insight team ([email protected]).

I signed up for size 4s but also have a child in size 6 for nights. Can't take survey again. I have 3 who are 3 and under.

Do the pants leak as much as the nappies Hmm tho I suppose at least the tabs won't rip off when I try to attach them with my buff, 9 stone, heavily pregnant arms.

IAmAPaleontologist · 03/09/2015 19:41

I would love to enter but my child who wears a size 6 is my dd who is 6 and still in a nappy at night which frequently leaks but the survey only goes up to age 3. Would be helpful to have age limits in the description if they don't want older ones.

Are these micro pearls the same stuff which has been found to enter the food chain? Maybe we should be looking at more environmentally friendly nappies.
