We’ve been asked by LEGO® to find 30 UK Mumsnetters to give LEGO® as a reward to their DCs over a 2 week period.

We’re looking for Mumsnetters who have at least one child aged 5 or over.

Here’s what they have to say: “Here at LEGO®, we’re interested to see what occasions you would consider rewarding or treating your kids with LEGO®? A great school report. Holiday treats. Good behaviour on a trip to the dentist. Helping in the garden. Tidying their room. Mum's little star. There is a great LEGO® gift idea starting from £2.49 that is fun, creative and made for every occasion. With so many sets to choose from, we think LEGO® is a fantastic gift for every occasion and we’d like you to tell us about it!”

If you are selected to take part you will be sent one of the following:

• Two LEGO® City Sets (Demolition Starter set and Swamp Police Starter set - RRP £8.99)
  
• Two LEGO® Friends Sets (Garden Pool and Vet Ambulance - RRP £9.99)
  
• One LEGO® City Set and One LEGOFriends Set (either Demolition Starter set OR Swamp Police Starter set, and Garden Pool OR Vet Ambulance)
  

Over a two week period we’d like you to give the LEGO® products to your child as a reward – should the situation arise where a reward or treat is warranted, of course , in place of other rewards. During the testing period, you would need to give feedback on a thread on Mumsnet about the occasions where you have given the LEGO® sets as a reward. It's very important you share your feedback with Mumsnet and LEGO® on the thread. If there were no occasions to reward your child with LEGO®, you can use the LEGO® as a reward at a later date and still participate in the thread

Testers need to be available to participate in the test from 18-31 May. Please only apply if you’re available at this time.

Every tester who posts their feedback will be entered into a prize draw, where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

We use Lego Mixels to reward currently and take larger sets on Holiday in case of bad weather or just some quiet downtime. My son would love to try these!

Done :) About to restart using 1-2-3 Magic with the two youngest dc, and think it would be an ideal time to try this as both love Lego, and I'd never thought if using it as a reward before!

Yes I've entered we already use Lego as a reward usually the games or TV programmes. For exceptional behaviour they get a figure or a mixel. I find it hard to get rewards to work though, most have to be immediate. The golden time chart and a goal a week work well. its hard having to children with asd as sometimes I really don't think they understand the time frame and the concept of rewards but at the moment I thing it works kind of okay.

We use lego magazines as bribery / rewards and DD loves them. The next step up (for badges at swimming or gym) is a visit to play at the lego store and a mini figure. This would be amazing!

I use an ice-cream on a friday as a reward for good school-run behaviour, but would rather not have food-as-reward. We use lego as a time filler on days out (those 3-in-1 creator kits are fabulous) but I hadn't thought of lego-as-reward even though we love lego.

I have entered. I never realised Lego had such great value sets available. We try to reward little and often so to give them something they love so much but is affordable would be great

We use the mixel sets and keyrings for rewards. Occasionally they get a bigger set if it's a real achievement, a mile at swimming for my six year old got a bigger set.

We use it as a reward already..... mainly minifigures though.
Can I make a request for more set in the 2 to 6 pound range? Sometimes I'd like to get them more than a minifigures but the next set up is around 9 pounds.
