They also recently picked up the Bounty Mums Love Gold Best Private Label Nappy award.

“Aldi’s Mamia range is committed to offering savvy mums the best quality nappies for their little ones.

  1. Love the nappies, as good as, if not better than the premium brands. No negatives for me.

2 . Yes, brilliant value for money.

  1. Yes, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic quality, very happy with them. Will be buying them in future.

Nappies arrived yesterday and were in use from yesterday afternoon.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?
Pleasantly surprised, they are quite thin and feel very soft.

Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?

Reasonable price. I tend to buy in bulk and have them delivered which works out cheaper, but I would probably use them again.

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would reccomend them, they did not leak over night, tolerated frantic crawling and did not encourage nappy rash.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?

They were a lovely design and even daddy could figure out which way round they went!
Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?

I'll definitely be using them again! Half the price of Tesco ones and better dryness.

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would for value and also functionality. Really impressed. Sceptic converted. Zero leaks.

Love these nappies. They are good quality, fit well and a better price than competitor nappies. I would certainly recommend them to everyone.

They are not bulky and cope very well even overnight.

Can't see me using any other nappies in future.

I usually buy Pampers or Tesco, used to buy sainsburys but find them awful now. I found the Aldi nappies better than the Tesco ones, they are thinner, a better fit and the tabs that close the nappy are sturdier (the Tesco ones are really flimsy). I also liked the decoration (as did my older children, don't know how much the baby takes it in!)

  1. So overall impression is that they are a good quality nappy that fits comfortably. I particularly liked the design - slimness and good fit. They lasted as long as Pampers do, can be used overnight unlike many cheaper nappies. There was nothing I disliked about them really.

Q2. The price is good value for money, I currently pay a lot more for Pampers and tend to stock up when on special offer. I will be buying them again given that they are good quality. Sometimes cheaper nappies are a false economy because you have to change them more, but I have found the Aldi nappies to last really well.

Q3. I would definitely recommend Aldi nappies and have already recommended them to my childminder. I would recommend them because they are so similar to Pampers in their quality and fit but represent much better value.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?

I liked the animal design on the nappies, they don't look like cheap nappies. Very absorbent too.

Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?

I think they're great value for money. We normally use cloth in the daytime but I'd definitely use these for nighttime.

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend these nappies. They're just as good quality as pampers but a lot cheaper.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies?

Nice Packaging, though box handles seem to tear, nice colouring, didn't leak compared to sainsburys own brand.

What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?

Took me a while to realise the strip where they attach to, I sometimes put them on slightly too far back, but is more me as DW does it fine.

Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money?

Yes

Do you think you’d use them again?

Yes

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies?

Yes, a friend also prefers these over premium brands.

If so, why? If not, why not?

Good price and quality.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?
They felt a bit softer than I expected - the shine on them made me think they'd be a bit papery but they were nice. The tabs were excellent - we've been using Tesco ones and have found the tabs tear quite often but these seem strong. I liked the animal design and that went down very well with my daughter too!

Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?
Very good value for money, I'd definitely use them again. In fact, I'm a bit gutted that we haven't been using them all along.

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would - excellent value, work better than other budget options and I'd say even brand names like Pampers too. A good saving and a good product.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?
Very soft, quite slim, nice pattern.

Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?
They are about average price I think. I may but I'm not in Aldi often and it's easier to have nappies delivered with my shopping from Tesco I'm afraid.

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, if it came up. They definitely do the job :)

I tested size 6 Aldi nappies on my son.

  1. My overall impression is good although as an active toddler we have had a couple of leaks although you can get that with any nappy.

  2. I think they are good value for money and yes I would use them again.

  3. I would recommend them because of the performance and price. Top name nappies are extremely expensive. Grin

As an non premium brand sceptic I was very overwhelmed by how amazing these nappies are!! I am using the size 3 on a 19 week little boy. He is my 2nd son and with my first I wouldnt use any time but pampers.

Being my 2nd I continued with Pampers. I was eager to try these nappies as I perceived them to be useless.. a false economy as it were. HOW WRONG WAS I?!

  1. Design is fantastic, love the animals and colours. Thinner than I anticipated and comfy looking too.

No leaks or nappy rash. Also found they didntsmell of chemicals. Both pre soiled or post soiled.

Super nappies... complete convert.

  1. Great value for money. I have cancelled my save and subscribe order on Amazon and willnow continue buying Aldi's nappies.

  1. Would definitely recommend. Have done already.

Thanks for letting us do the test. Its been a revelation and will save is money going forward. I am also going to Aldi to do our weekly shop off the back of the qaulity of the nappies.

Mine arrived yesterday, but I had been so fed up of the Tesco ones leaking overnight that I actually bought some Aldi nappies last week, before I knew we were selected for the trial, so have been trialling them overnight for 10 days already. (We use cloth during the day).

  1. I am very happy with the Aldi nappies (size 4). We have had no overnight leaks compared to every night with Tesco, even after moving to the next size.

  1. The price seems very reasonable. Similar to supermarket own brands and much cheaper than Pampers (and without their smell which I don't like).

  1. Yes I would definitely recommend them.

Thank you for selecting me to take part in the trial.

I tested size 4 nappies with my 9 month old daughter.

  1. The overall impression of the nappies is good. I've been using Lidl nappies before now and think thst the Aldi ones are a little bulkier but only slightly. They are pretty strong and I haven't had any leaks, which is pretty good.

  2. I think they are pretty good value for money. I would say they is pence difference between Lidl and Aldi nappies so, if I was nearer an Aldi than a Lidl, would definitely buy them again.

  3. I would certainly recommend the nappies, especially to parents who are currently using big supermarket or 'premium' nappy brands. They do the job and are soft and comfortable. What more do you need from a nappy?

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?
I thought they were soft & flexible, more so than Sainsburys own brand nappies.
Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?
Yes, good value for money. No issues with leakage or tabs coming loose etc so would be happy to use them again.
Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I wouldn't be happy to pay more for premium nappies when these are so good and do the job well.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Aldi’s Mamia nappies? What, if anything, did you like and dislike about them?

I love them. They are easily as good as brand leaders and are much like Huggies in that they look comfy and don't smell chemically. They pretty much never leak. And they are cheap!

Q2. The RRP for Aldi’s Mamia nappies are above, do you think that this is good value for money? Do you think you’d use them again?

Excellent value for money, and I will use them again.

Q3. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Aldi’s Mamia nappies to friends and/or family with children using nappies? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I'd say don't waste money on branded nappies these are as good or better.
