This thread is for the 150 Mumsnetters who have been trying Always Dailies Flexible Liners.

Non testers: Add your thoughts on the small things that make a positive difference to your day for a chance to win £100.

Always say "All women, whether they're pregnant or not, have some vaginal discharge – but during pregnancy and at other times of the month or at certain times in our lives, the amount of discharge often increases. This is perfectly normal and healthy and shows that your body is working correctly.

Always Dailies Pantyliners help to cope with the additional discharge – by locking away the moisture all day. These ultra-thin, breathable pantyliners absorb any moisture, and can be replaced whenever you want a boost of freshness and added comfort."

Non-testers: Share on this thread what, on an average day, are the small things that help boost your confidence, such as the use of a pantyliner, which keeps you feeling fresh and dry throughout the day. Everyone who shares their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.

Testers: Thank you to all of you who are taking part. Below are a few questions for you to answer but please feel free to add any other comments you have too.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Every tester who adds their feedback to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MN tester will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

I feel much more comfortable when I'm wearing an adequate moisturiser. I hate the tight itchy feeling when it isn't strong enough!

I was pleased with them. I definitely felt more comfortable and fresher and it was easy to see it being part of my everyday routine. I am very likely to use them again. I have yet to use my Figleaves voucher!

Hi, I was picked as a tester!

  1. Overall I was impressed with the product, my cycle is very irregular since the birth of my baby and they were comfortable and discreet enough to wear every day and sufficient enough to catch any spotting or anything.

  1. I definitely felt more comfortable and cleaner during the day and as a result more confident- I had no worries about any odours escaping.

  1. Yep, went on with my knickers in the morning after my shower.

  1. Not pregnant but only had my son 6 months ago and wish I'd had them whilst I was pregnant, would definitely recommend to other women.

  1. Will definitely be buying them again!

  1. Haven't and probably won't use my fig leaves voucher, still nursing so need nursing bras as big as houses!

  1. Fairly likely if I find a good deal on them.

  1. Will buy 1-2 better fitting bras

Yes, as easy a part of the routine as any other aspect, quick to use and no hassle at all.

4. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?
I'm not pregnant or a new Mum but would recommend them to others to try for themselves, decent cost, great availability

Will use these again certainly

Will buy something for Mother's Day for my own Mum.

I feel more confident when I know if I 'leak' its staying on a panty liner
Tmi I know but im pregnant and have way more discharge than normal so panty liners help. Will try these and see how they are.
I also feel more confident if when ive applied my makeup it doesn't look dried out (have dry skin so looots of moisturising involved and use a dewy spray too make me look less dry)

  1. Yes, I definitely felt fresher, more comfortable and more confident knowing it was there.

  1. Yes, they were simple & easy to use as part of my routine - I put one one after my shower in the morning when putting on clean clothes.

  1. Looked good, though may need to re-think packaging, given the number of us that received squashed boxes! (PAckaging looked smart though)

  1. They were thinner than my usual brand, and so I didn't feel as fresh & comfortable during the day as usual.

  1. Yes, easily incorporated into daily routine.

  1. Not pregnant, and would probably not recommend to pregnant friend if appropriate conversation came up, because I think there are better products available.

  1. Very unlikely.

  1. Not used voucher yet, as have little opportunity for shopping recently. Looking forward to using it though so thanks for this!

There were thin and comfortable.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

I felt fresh but am not sure I would feel confident that they would be absorbent enough if I was pregnant.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes , definitely

I haven't used my figleaves voucher yet but will probably get a nice new T shirt bra to wear under my lightweight tops for the spring/summer!

  1. I preferred them to the Boots own-brand ones that I have been wearing and will switch to them when I next need to buy some.

  1. Yes, I really did. They were comfortable to wear and kept me fresh.

  1. Yes.

  1. Yes, most definitely. I like the fact that they have the adhesive all the way around the edge of the liner, rather than just along the centre as many do. This made them stay in place and they don't occasionally catch pubic hairs which can be really painful/uncomfortable!

  1. Very likely.

  1. Nursing bra(s).

I actually liked these! I am pregnant and do find that even at this later stage I knicker watch a lot, so having a liner in is something of a reassurance I suppose.
I found them discreet, not irritating my skin and they stayed put which is all one can ask for! I will be getting some more I think, and I don't consistently use liners, just on days when I feel 'less fresh'.

Small things that help boost my confidence are having a good hair day & a stranger holding a door open for me or saying thank you when I hold a door open for them .

TMI Alert!!!

1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?
Currently 34 weeks pregnant and I was very impressed. I have been using another brand during pregnancy, due to heavier discharge but found that these are slimmer, stay in place better and seemed to cope better as well.

2. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?
I felt a lot more comfortable. Without using anything I would be changing underwear several times a day currently! These are very discreet, and I hardly noticed I was wearing them.

3. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?
Absolutely, put the box in the underwear drawer so could bring one out with clean underwear each morning.

4. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them as they seem to cope well with the issues I have been having whilst pregnant. I certainly felt fresher and cleaner all day using them.

5. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?
I will definitely be looking out for them and continue to use them. Will also now consider the brand as an alternative to my usual when periods start again. I only wish they did a maternity pad as I imagine that would also be very good, and from memory you need something reliable to see you through several weeks after you've given birth and most on offer are very bulky.

6. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?
I have not used it - well I'm into the last 6 weeks of pregnancy so I'm changing shape on an almsot daily basis. By the time I'd ordered anything it probably wouldn't fit!

1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?
Relieved that they were unperfumed. I use lots of liners and these were good -size/fit/absorbency.

2. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?
More comfortable than some of the other liners I have used - no irritation and no rucking up.

3. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?
Yes.

4. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?*
Not pg. Probably I would recommend if asked!

5. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?
Very likely - especially if they are on offer...If full price vs some of the other brands I would buy them in preference. But don't add perfume please!

6. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?
Haven't used yet.

  1. I think they are probably the best panty liners I have used. They feel ok when you are wearing them and keep you feeling fresh.
  2. I definitely felt fresher when using Always panty liners. They made me feel much more confident when going out and about too as my bladder is weak during pregnancy.
  3. the panty liners are really simple to use. I would like them to be individually wrapped but just put them into a little bag when taking them out and about.
  4. yes I'd definitely recommend them to other pregnant ladies who are suffering from bladder weakness or, ahem, increased discharge. They just make you feel much more comfortable.
  5. I will definitely continue to use them throughout this pregnancy.
  6. I didn't receive a fig leaves voucher....but would use it for some nice post pregnancy underwear!

  1. Much the same as any other liners, maybe a bit thinner.
  2. Fresher around mid-cycle when there is more discharge, otherwise about the same as usual really.
  3. Yes. Nothing complicated about ripping off the backing and sticking the pad to knickers. I keep forgetting they are in the cupboard though so everyday routine isn't exactly true here.
  4. Not pregnant, I would recommend them though, inasmuch as I would recommend any liner.
  5. Not likely, too expensive. I do tend towards the Tesco 22p/30 liners end of the spectrum though so these would have to do party tricks to make me spend more money.
  6. I will buy a bra. Or a swimming costume. Or maybe some pants.
